Apropos of nothing, but seeing as the Stone Ocean anime is getting closer, I will be curious if D.Pro go ahead and tweak some scenes to smooth over continuity like they have for past seasons - such as replacing DIO's parrot with Pet Shop. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't but it's interesting all the same, especially for someone like Anasui and his Diver Down.

Okay but what if they went the other way and kept him as a girl the entire way?

I just re-watched the initial trailer and I believe you are correct.
Though to be honest, while Anasui himself did occur to me, I was more thinking along the lines of his Stand Diver Down having a different ability in its first appearance compared to subsequent uses which would require actually altering the scene of Anasui using his Stand to bypass the guards, itself to maintain continuity.

The OP has dropped and has come full circle with the trippy 3D CGI once again.

anime Pucci will be voiced by Seki Tomokazu (Gilgamesh).
Moment of silence for Jouji Nakata's Pucci from the games. I also feel that Seki in particular is somewhat of a miscast, despite his acting range.

Yeah, I don't see how this could be folded into Diver Down's later abilities.
It is funny that Pucci has gone from being voiced by Gil's masters in order (Show Hayami and Jouji Nakata) to voiced by Gil himself

The easiest fix for Diver Down is simply replacing the "This is Diver Down's ability" line for "This is one of Diver Down's abilities".
So I don't know if anyone else has heard about this, but supposedly the first 12 episodes are gonna be released all at the same time (because of Netflix most likely). This has led some to speculate that the show is gonna be released in batches of 12 episodes all the way through, which means no more JoJo Friday and no more week-to-week hype building.
Personally I wouldn't be too upset if this turned out to be the case, and some even say it may help with the slow beginning that Part 6 has (I haven't read it so I wouldn't know).
Any thoughts?
I think it's a wasted opportunity. It being released in a block changes the entire dynamic of the show's viewership. People will just get around to watching it when they want, instead of everyone tuning in together to talk and watch about it. The zeitgeist! Also there'll be spoilers of everything posted everywhere Day 1.
Casting Gil's VA for Pucci is interesting. Why say it's a miscast?
He never sleeps. He never dies.
Battle doesn't need a purpose; the battle is its own purpose. You don't ask why a plague spreads or a field burns. Don't ask why I fight.
Posting the episodes in bulk certainly kills off the chance for water cooler chat week to week. It also kinda bleeds hype as you had to watch the episodes each week to keep up but now you can watch the batch whenever you feel like it and forget about it until the next batch comes out.
Well, not that it's my problem anyways since I don't plan on watching it.

I totally agree about the block format kinda changing the JoJo zeitgeist and limiting fan engagement.
As for Tomokazu Seki bring a miscast IMO, I feel he will not be able to measure up to the richer baritone-bass of either of Pucci's previous seiyuu, and because I cannot separate Seki from Gilgamesh in any way, even when he played Panda in JJK.
It's going to kill the momentum for the first 12 episodes definitely. But I don't expect Netflix to be able to schedule for shit, so I have the feeling that the second batch is going to be late so once March rolls around the weekly Japanese airings will be father ahead for a few weeks.

imagine Pucci saying Made in Heaven like Gate of Babylon.
