    So, in honor of Game of Thrones starting up again, and episode 2 airing tonight, I decided to whip up a quick stat sheet for my favourite character, Oberyn Martell.

    Personal Skills:

    Nature of a Rebellious Spirit (A): The temperament to never remain at one location and never embrace a lord. A wandering star that does not have the capacity to be king nor is capable of finding his own king. Negates the effects of Charisma with the same rank.

    Toxicology (C): The knowledge and ability to create various types of poison.

    Familial Bond (B): Possessed by those who cherish familial ties over anything else in life. If a certain compatibility with one’s Master is met, a permanent boost of the Strength parameter will occur.

    Noble Phantasms:

    Sunspear: Bite of the Red Viper (B, Anti-Unit): A spear tipped with an incredibly deadly poison. This poison was created from the venom of one of the legendary Manticores, and was thickened with Thaumaturgy to draw out its effects. Once it gets into someone’s system, it cannot be cured, and the victim is guaranteed a long, but very painful death.

    Well, did two of my favourite characters from one of my favourite series. This one is a bit unique in a way, and may seem like it is breaking a rule or something, but if you've seen the series it should make sense.

    Kyotouryuu: Secret Techniques

    A Japanese sword martial arts that does not incorporate a physical sword into its techniques. Mutsue Yasuri would use this technique to single handily end the long rebellion led by Takahito Hida. His actions would give him the title of “Hero of the Rebellion”, and the skills of the Kyotouryuu would come to be feared by many.

    However, the true history of the Kyotouryuu begins at Kiki Shikizaki, the legendary Blacksmith who created the 12 Deviant Blades. Kiki Shikazki worked with the founder of the Kyotouryuu to create an art that would become stronger than any other; one capable of destroying all 12 of the Deviant Blades, with the primary intention to save Japan for certain destruction.

    Shichika Yasuri is the absolute perfection of the Kyotouryuu, and he would eventually wield it to destroy the Deviant Blades, fulfilling his role as the Ultimate Deviant Blade. He is capable of using every technique of the Kyotouryuu at a masterful level, some of which include the ability to produce phantom illusions, an attack that can pierce any armor, or a stance that prevents his enemies from predicting his next move.

    The most impression technique of the Kyotouryuu. As long as the Noble Phantasm is physical, Shichika is capable of destroying it with his fists. More powerful Noble Phantasms will require multiple attempts or certain conditions to be met.

    In life, Shichika destroyed all 12 of the Deviant Blades – weapons that could be considered Noble Phantasms themselves, ranking from E~A.

    Edited this a bit, moving Kyotouryuu to an actual NP. I think it makes more sense as one as it is heavily tied to his legend and can't really be considered a skill. I split it up because he has a bunch of different moves, so his "secret techniques" (he literally calls them this in the anime) would fall under the first, whereas the "sword destroying" one falls under the second.

    Yeah, shitty wording on my part. Win wouldn't mean kill, it would just mean "come out on top", or whatever. I'm not sure how else to word it.

    Throughout the series he is constantly underestimated due to fact that he fights with a "swordless sword technique".

    It might not be the perfect match, but I thought he needed a skill that allowed them to have some sort of advantage. Because compared to Servants, Shichika is kinda under powered. It fits enough to make sense, imo.

    Tried to make a non-OP Madoka. I'm less confident about this one then others, so feel free to criticize. Have some reasoning for the some of the Skills, as well as an explanation for why I did the Servant Sheet this way, at the end.

    Personal Skills:

    Guardian Knight: B
    Temporarily raises defensive power when protecting others.

    Bravery: C
    The ability to negate mental interference such as pressure, confusion and fascination. Mental interference is not completely nullified, but its effectiveness is reduced somewhat.

    Soul Gem: A
    One possesses an external Spiritual Core known as a Soul Gem. Although they must stay in close proximity of it at all times, damage inflicted to the body no longer damages their Spiritual Core.

    Noble Phantasms

    Bow of Roses: Cute Pink Arrows (?)

    A bow resembling a rose branch that fires arrows composed of pure Prana. These arrows can be charged, resulting in more powerful attacks.

    Anti-Unit (Oneself), Anti-World

    Madoka turns into a Witch, the final form of a Mahou Shoujo. She loses access to her Personal Skills and her other Noble Phantasm, but in return, she gains EX-ranked versions of the skills Monstrous Strength and Mental Pollution, as well as a drastic increase in parameters. This is completely irreversible, and within 10 days, she will end up completely consuming the World.

    Although Madoka would never use this Noble Phantasm out of her own free will, it can be forced through severe mental trauma or an order from a Command Spell.
    I felt the Soul Gem fits better as a Skill than a Noble Phantasm, as it doesn't really do much. Also sorta because I couldn't think of a third skill for her to have.
    Kriemhild Gretchen might be EX ranked, but since she would never actually use it out of her own free will, I think it is balanced.

    Anyway, the explanation for why she is this way (+ her motivation) is more important. I'm going to spoiler this as it has spoilers for Rebellion.

    Spoiler:
    So, obviously this isn't full out "Madokami", since the Grail wouldn't really be capable of summoning something like that. Instead, it is a part of her, similar to what happened in Rebellion with a part of the Law of Cycles being sent to save Homura.

    Now, with Rebellion, Homura essentially took the "human" aspect of Madoka out of the Law of Cycles. As we can clearly see in the ending, Madoka is subconsciously aware that something is wrong. If this subconscious awareness becomes a conscious awareness, we can assume that her memories will return or she will reconnect with the Law of Cycles.

    The idea I have is that Madoka's subconscious manages to "connect" with the Law of Cycles, maybe in a dream or somehow. She realizes what Homura has done, but at the same time, she can't just fully return and reverse the process because of Homura's presence and power.

    So, in an effort to repair the Law of Cycles, as well as a desire to "free" Homura, a miracle is sought.

    The Grail hears this wish, and works with the Law of Cycles to summon an avatar of Madoka. This Madoka is both her human/magical girl aspect, possessing the same memories Madokami has, and for all intents and purposes would be the actual Madoka (as in, not some previous version of her). Her abilities would be equivalent to the abilities she possessed right before she became Madokami, but maybe a bit weaker due to the summoning.

    In the end, her wish for the Grail would be to stop Homura and return to the Law of Cycles. This does not mean she hates Homura or anything; it would be exactly the opposite. She understands Homura’s feelings and does not disdain her for what she did at the end of Rebellion. So part of the motivation would be to apologize to Homura, and find a way to give her happiness without resorting to the distorted world at the end of Rebellion.


    All together, it is sorta similar to Saber's situation, as Madoka doesn't fully go to the Throne of Heroes. I'm sure something could be done with Counter Guardians (Mahou Shoujo = Counter Guardian), but the problem is that Madoka never truly dies, so she shouldn't be part of the Counter Force yet.

    I doubt everything I described fits with canon completely, but I think it is decent enough that it would make sense. If anyone disagrees, however, feel free to yell at me.

    Can continue the battle despite grevious wounds done unto the body. Fatal wounds will greatly slow down but not completely incapacitate user.

    Can inspire many other and leads well. Mere presence can increase morale of troops

    Bravery: B
    The ability to negate mental interference such as pressure, confusion and fascination. Mental interference is not completely nullified, but its effectiveness is reduced somewhat.

    Hamon: B++
    A skill much like Prana burst that strengthens and reinforces abilities of the wielder. Can be applied variably upon different objects but universally imbues the affected object with a Sun attribute. Power may double or even triple if entrance of overdrive is achieved.

    Disengage: C
    Can break away from battle with conditions even more favourable to Joseph during the start of the next encounter but can only be used situationally and few times upon the same target.

    Eye of the Mind True: A
    Capable of calm analysis of battle conditions even when in danger and deduce an appropriate course of action after considering all possibilities to escape from a predicament. So long there is even a 0.01% chance of a comeback, this ability greatly improves the chances of winning.

    Noble Phantasms

    Purple Hermit: A Destined Souls Stand
    Anti-Unit
    Rank: C

    A purple thorny vine that extends from Josephs arm, it is a form of advanced ESP that has been speculated to be the projection of Joseph's Soul. Can be used to provide easy medium for his Hamon powers and gives Clairvoyance up to rank B ( no visual contact required) if there is a medium nearby.




    That's my first Servant stat sheet. Tell me your critiques.
    While he has a weak noble phantasm I would have him rely primarily on his personal skills and luck. This is Joseph with his entire legend accumulated so imagine Joseph from end of Part 2 with all of his experience from the later parts and Purple Hermit added to his arsenal.

    No need for Charisma. That's a skill a Leader would have, and isn't suited for a solo fighter like Joseph. Referring to Hamon as a kind of Prana Burst is incorrect; it's much more similar to Breathing and Walking, since it doesn't use any prana and never runs out as long as the user can keep breathing.

    Apart from that, nothing stands out as horrible. There's not really a need to put pluses like that on Skills, but it's a nitpick you can feel free to disregard.

    • He who control’s Requiem controls its secrets. It is without doubt that the Promethean Knights serve the Didact. But when the Didact vanished he left the bulk of his mechanized warriors leaderless. Saber filled that role and in his year-long rule over Requiem he wielded the armies of Requiem against the human interlopers. Unlike the Prometheans that the Didact possessed, Saber can only summon 12-30 Promethean Knights at his side. This Noble Phantasm demands more mana than Saber has and thus can only be used when a command seal is used.



    Name: Didact’s Hand – He Who Speaks for the Gods.

    Type: Anti-Unit.
    Rank: C.

    • When the Didact was released from his imprisonment, Saber was seen in a new light. Already he was the leader of a religious movement but now he was seen a guide, a prophet of sorts. Even with the Didact’s defeat he still commanded Requiem and all of its secrets. Once used he can force all sentients within a set area (?) to willingly act as his spies.



    Notes:

    • His stats are based off my Arbiter/Thel 'Vadam Servant sheet. Elites are as strong as SPARTAN-II's so his parameters should be fair. As for his luck, Jul 'Mdama has had some of the worst. He witness the Covenant fall apart, see's the Arbiter argue support a alliance with humanity (Jul see's humanity as a pestilence). He joins a cult planning on overthrowing the Arbiter only to learn that the cult is working with humans. He tries to return to Sanghelios only to be captured by humans and imprisoned. He manages to escape and tries to contact his family only to learn that not only has the coup happened and failed but his wife was killed in his place.




    • The "+" comes from what he does a consequence. He unites Covenant cultists and frontier worlds and establishes a Covenant remnant that terrorizes humanity. He locates Requiem and releases the Didact (who is defeated days later). He gains temporary command of the Prometheans and acquires part of a key to infinite Forerunner treasures. Right now he is doing fairly well for himself.




    • Charisma comes from his formation of the Covenant remnant. A formidable fleet of cruisers and capital ships not counting thousands of battle hardened warriors and legions of fanatics from frontier worlds.




    • Military Tactics come from his participation in the Human-Covenant War. He wasn't anything notable.




    • Pioneer of Stars comes from his formation of the Covenant remnant. He (currently) represents the largest post-War threat. He found Requiem and awakened the Didact. Small things, but they build up.





    • So Noble Phantasms. In Halo 4 he controlled the Promethean Knights after the Didact was defeated. He used them to fight the UNSC until he decided to throw Requiem into its sun. He can't summon an army like the Didact, but he can summon a few. As for his second Noble Phantasm, this one I don't particularly like. I wanted to make note of his title as "Didact's Hand" which became used after the Didact was released. (Or it could be a false streak of divinity...)

    I can see dropping charisma. I just kept it because he was able to rally and inspire people to fight.

    I know that Hamon works off of breathing and so such and requires no mana to maintain. Breathing as I saw it was seen a more internalized thing and Prana burst could boost ability and effect objects that were in in contact. I was discussing similarity in effect not mechanics per se.

    The plus modfier for the Hamon ability would be based on overdrives and if somone who also knows how to breath correctly dies and you take their ripple like with ceaser there would be permanent rank up. I keep it at B because he's canonically stated to be weaker than Johnathan but still pretty skilled.

    Here's one I think might not have been done yet. If it isn't obvious, this isn't the Count from the french novel, it's the one from the anime.

    The capacity to hide one's presence as a Servant. It is possible to disappear completely and become almost impossible to be detected. However, efficiency will decrease once preparations to attack are taken.

    Measures one's fortune to acquire wealth. Money problems are mostly unknown, yet even if they do appear other methods of obtaining money can easily be found.

    Riding: C+

    The expertise to ride animals and vehicles. Most vehicles can be handled with average skill, but specific vehicles can be handled with above average skill. Cannot ride the likes of Phantasm Races such as Monstrous Beasts.

    Manipulation: A

    One excels at the art of deception. Although they rely only on natural talent, their level of skill could even be compared to low to mid ranking suggestion Thaumaturgy.

    Gankutsuou is a demon residing within Edmond, one that formed a pact with him when he was imprisoned falsely in the Chateau d'If. Under normal circumstances, Edmond is capable of controlling Gankutsuou. However, he cannot do this alone, and requires a specific type of drug in order to suppress it.

    When Gankutsuou is unleashed, it takes control of his body. Edmond then becomes a being fuelled solely by hatred, and his face takes on a demonic appearance. He also gains a boost in both the Strength and Agility parameters.

    Although Edmond was finally able to free himself from Gankutsuou in the final moments of his life, he is once again haunted by its hateful presence, and its never-ending whispers continuously remind him of the sins he would do anything to forget.

    The Count of Monte Cristo’s prized white suit of armour. Within it, Edmond is capable of fully showing off his skill with the sword. Although his skill lies primarily in the art of dueling, he would still be able to put up a good fight against any of the three knight classes.
