Re Dante: Well I have to admit it is very creative, however he could potentially change the entire basis of the Grail War into less of a battle royale and more of a race to the finish line... but that's good actually, it could provide a fresh new spin on a familiar format.
Of course, there'd be the issue that any pagan Servant (and by default most Masters) wouldn't be able to enter Paradiso, unless maybe they forced their way in or something (which some definitely could).

If anything, my idea for Dante just had him with Noble Phantasms vaguely resembling his three guides.

Well, to be fair most masters aren't pagan to begin with, or Christian for that matter unless they have ties to the Church- they're magi, the Root is the closest thing they have to a religion. They'd still have obstacles regarding Limbo, but Hell is more a series of trials you're supposed to evade/survive- get through Limbo without being tempted by its beauty, get through the second circle without being blown away with the lovers, get through Dis without catching on fucking fire, etc. Once you reach and endure the tortures of Purgatory, regardless of what you actually believe, you will make it through to Dante's heaven- but again, that's enduring and surviving every freakin' torture in the entire Purgatorio, one after the next.

Hmmm... I'm not sure if this counts as necro-ing... or if it's even possible to Necro this thread given its subject matter...

Anyway, my fic, End/Silent Dream was cancelled. I plan on putting up a summary of what I had planned, and part of that involved cleaning up my notes on Servants. Some of them are so changed by being in the E/SD setting that they couldn't work as Servants in the Nasuverse. But I decided to put up the ones that would work, some with minor modification to help them fit.

Name: Agilaz (A Nordic Hero who William Tell is based off of)
    Class: Archer

    Strength: B (A)
    Agility: D (C)
    Endurance: D (C)
    Mana: C (A+)
    NP: B

    Class Skills:

    Magic Resistance: C

Independent Action (Special): E. When Agilaz acts under Independent Action, his stats change to the Ranks listed in parentheses above, and all "Special Modifiers" for his Noble Phantasms are lifted.

    Personal Skills:

Guardian Knight: C. Agilaz's Strength increases by one Rank when defending a person.

    Noble Phantasm:

All of Agilaz's Noble Phantasms possess a Special Modifier that prevents him from having more than one Invoked at a given time.

Volund's Arrow (Anti-Unit): C: A Noble Phantasm representing two myths, when Agilaz shot an arrow at his son and later at Volund. Agilaz selects an arrow, from his quiver or elsewhere, and then invokes the name of this Noble Phantasm; when he does, the arrow held becomes Volund's Arrow until it has struck a target. When fired, so long as Agilaz can picture his target's location in his mind and there is a non-zero chance of his arrow striking that target, he will hit with perfect accuracy. However, this Noble Phantasm may not be used for a killing blow. If it is aimed at a place that would be fatal, it will only hit with enough force to cause a non-fatal wound (A shot to the throat for example would hit just hard enough to draw a tiny amount of blood). It excels at striking non-living targets though. When under Independent Action, Agilaz may make fatal blows with this Phantasm.

Honor of Aliruna (Anti-Army): D: From the myth where Agilaz and his wife Aliruna defended a Holy Keep against an entire army. This Noble Phantasm bears a Special Modifier that allows him to use it only when defending something that can be classified as a "Keep," or while opposing an Anti-Fortress Phantasm. In addition, the modifier states that it may only be used against multiple targets. Agilaz holds his bow and then invokes the name of this Noble Phantasm; when he does, the bow becomes "Honor of Aliruna." While invoked, any arrow fired will split into forty, and each arrow will act as if it was fired at a different enemy by Agilaz. If there are less than forty enemies, the paths of the arrows will be divided evenly between those present.

Nidung's Arrow (Anti-Fortress): B: This Noble Phantasm may only be used when Agilaz has no Master. When Agilaz was forced to fire an arrow at his own son, he set one arrow aside to kill King Nidung should his son die. Agilaz invokes the name of this Noble Phantasm; when he does, all arrow's he fires become Nidung's Arrow. This Noble Phantasm causes all arrows fired to act as if they are a C-Rank Noble Phantasm that has been broken. Once this Noble Phantasm has been invoked, Agilaz may no longer accept Prana to maintain his existence in this world, and will die without fail when his Independent Action runs out.

In case you haven't figured it out, Agilaz turns into death incarnate if you kill his master. Under Independent Action he can use all of his Noble Phantasms simultaneously, allowing him to fire a Broken Phantasm that splits into forty Broken Phantasms then homes in on its target. And he can do that as many times as he likes until his thirty seconds of Independent Action run out.

    Name: Romulus
    Class: Saber or Rider

    Strength: B
    Agility: C
    Endurance: C
    Mana: C
    Luck: A
    NP: A

    Class Skills:

Magic Resistance: B (D as Rider)

    Riding: A (A+ as Rider)

    Personal Skills:

Divinity: C (Descendent of Venus, deified after death)

    Charisma: A

Animal Dialogue: D (C as Rider)

    Noble Phantasms:

The Emperor's Ground (Support): B. Can only be used as Saber. Romulus may indicate a specific location as his "Territory." this Territory starts out small and slowly expands as the war progresses. Any Servant entering this territory will notice immediately, and the grail will provide them with the knowledge that "This ground has been claimed by Saber." While fighting inside this Territory, Saber's physical parameters are increased by one Rank each. Further, the Noble Phantasm "Celer" has its power increased by One Rank.

Lupercal (Anti-Army): B. Can only be used as Rider. Takes the form of a Wolf-skin cape worn by Rider. When invoked, calls forth the wolves that raised him. It calls forth two great Wolves, twelve feet in height, with a C-Rank in all Physical Parameters, and eight lesser wolves of more normal size with D-Rank in all Physical Parameters. The Master may see through the eyes of these wolves in the same manner that they would see through the eyes of a Servant.

Celer (Anti-Army): C. This sword is representative of the Celeres, the 500 horsemen who enforced Romulus' rule. When invoked and swung, energy taking the form of those 500 horsemen comes forth. These horsemen deal damage in the form of a physical impact, as if being trampled by a real horseman; however, they are not actual entities. These Horseman can be sent forth at up to A-Rank speeds (A+ if used as Rider). If used as Saber, Saber may control each horseman individually; if used as Rider, the operating range of this Phantasm is increased from 300 yards to 700 but may only be used in a straight line.

Rome (Support): A. A great sword representing the empire that Romulus set in motion. When weilded, it enforces the idea of Rome's destiny to conquer all. When in battle, fate will conspire to help Romulus win, as if his opponent's Luck stat was adjusted to E- and Romulus' adjusted to EX. This will have no effect on any Servant who died before Rome's founding or survived past its fall, nor will it effect a Servant who successfully resisted Rome during their lifetime.

I lowered Romulus' Mana and Endurance to be more in keeping with our world's version of Romulus (Who wasn't a mage). E/SD's Romulus had Endurance of B and Mana of A. I also messed around a bit with his Noble Phantasms and skills, and got rid of a few other things. He also had Pioneer of the Stars for example, which was removed due to our universe's Romulus being far less significant.
I am considering swapping what Celer does for which Class.

    Name: Cain
    Class: Assassin

    Strength: B
    Agility: D
    Endurance: A+
    Mana: B
    Luck: E
    NP: A

    Class Skills:

Presence Concealment (Special): A++. Rather than hiding in the shadows, Cain's nature causes a person's mind to refuse to acknowledge his presence. If someone has a weak enough will, they may even fail to notice Cain's presence even while he is in the act of striking them. Very strong willpower is required to overcome this, and Bravery will not work either. Cain may use traditional Presence Concealment, which will act as Rank D against opponents who are not affected by his Special Concealment.

    Personal Skills:

Mana Burst (Poison): A. A mana burst taking the form of a phantasmal poison that decays life in a similar manner to his Noble Phantasm. It is two ranks weaker if he is using it offensively rather than defensively.

    Mystic Face:
    B. All those who see it, or even think about it, will be physically sickened and repulsed and want to get away from this person as quickly as possible. Will only trigger if Special Presence Concealment is seen through.

    Noble Phantasm:

Mark of Cain (Anti-Unit): A. While active, any opponent who strikes Cain will have a minor wound inflicted on the place where Cain was struck that is infected with phantasmal poison that causes decay in living things. This poison is at its strongest when used in this way; a Servant with E-Rank endurance will be killed within minutes. If the attacker does not make physical contact with Cain, high Luck may prevent this Phantasm from triggering; otherwise, Divinity or Aegis of Faith is needed, as sufficient Ranks in these will slow or negate the effects of the poison.

Murder (Anti-Unit): B. When a strike is made with Cain's sickle that would hit an opponent's upper back while the target is unaware of Cain's presence, this Phantasm may be invoked. This phantasm will first recreate the death of Abel, by piercing the Target's spine. If the target is a Servant who was killed by physical violence in their myth, it will then recreate the injuries that killed them. Sufficient Luck may prevent this second effect from initiating, but the first may only be avoided through Instinct.

    Just call it "Murder".

Seriously. He invented it, so the name belongs to him

    Now that's an idea.

Would it be bad form to go back and change it to that? Or is it proper etiquette to leave it so that other people aren't confused as to what we're talking about?

Well, this was roughly the idea. How do you like it?

    Class: Caster
    Master: Hypothetically Perfect, Yet Non-Specific
    Name: Diomedes
    Gender: Male
    Alignment: Chaotic Good

    Parameters
    Strength: C
    Endurance: D
    Agility: B+
    Magic: A
    Luck: B
    Noble Phantasm: A++

    Class Skills:
    Territory Creation: B
Allowing for the creation of a magus' workshop. Diomedes had to make do with temporary emplacements during most of his career, especially at Troy. As a result, he cannot improve his workshop to the level of a 'Temple'.

    Item Creation: C+
Allowing for the creation of certain magical artifacts. In the same way, Diomedes could rarely count on having resources available to create artifacts and so has little skill in this area. He still can create a powerful healing potion despite his low rank in this skill – after ten years of war, this became instinct for all the Danaan magi.

    Personal Skills:
Divinity – D: His magic occasioned him to be worshipped after his death in some areas, though he was not counted amongst the Divine Spirits.

Thaumaturgy – A: Skill with magecraft. Diomedes was a mighty magus, and improved himself through dedication and necessity throughout the Trojan War and his later life. His illusions were amongst the finest mortal magecraft has ever made, bordering on the edge of a certain true magic.

Eternal Arms Mastery – B: Purest skill with weaponry. One of the martial attributes that Diomedes could truly call his own, he excelled as one of the most adept warriors in the Trojan War. Any mental effects that should interfere with Diomedes' expertise are reduced to one-third efficacy.

    Noble Phantasms

    Heroic Reality Born From Lies
    ἀκάματον πῦρ

How the legend of Diomedes truly came to be. In one of the greatest battles fought in the Trojan War, he used his skill with illusion to make himself seem like the most terrifying opponent that the Trojans could have to face. He grew to a great height, divine fire shone from his armour, and Athene herself seemed to stand at his side. All the Trojans were thus put to flight, not daring to face such an apparition, the embodiment of a hero at war.

This is a certain technique by which Diomedes uses his enormous talent with illusions to create images that the enemy believes must be true. With such conviction secured, the effects can indeed become real. If Diomedes would normally create the illusion of an attack and slay his foe by taking advantage of an exposed area, now he can simply force the opponent to believe that he is too quick to be blocked – and it will become so. In this way, even Ares could be wounded by Diomedes, for both the fighters knew well that Athene was able to harm the inferior god of war.

The technique has few weaknesses, but they are vital. The highest ranks of magic resistance allow the possibility of throwing off the effect of the Noble Phantasm. Effects that are absolutely outrageous (such as Diomedes transforming into some Divine Beast) are simply too impossible to believe, no matter the apparent reality, and will have no effect. Moreover, the extra verisimilitude needed to create this effect drains prana more quickly than Diomedes' usual illusions, so a hardy Servant might wear him down.

    Rank: A+
    Type: Anti-Unit - Anti-Army Noble Phantasm
    Range: 1-40
    Maximum Targets: 1,000

    Winged Curse of Devastation
    στῆλαι ἀκίνητοι

Although Diomedes defended the land of King Daunus, he was robbed of the prize he had sought – to inherit that same land. His erstwhile allies mocked him, believing that he could not affect them since they were far more numerous and knew the secret of his illusionary magic. But Diomedes showed them their error. He cast a curse upon the land so that it would never be fertile again until it was given over to one of his blood.

Although the immediate curse was carried out solely by Diomedes, fuelled with his rage and offended pride, even his power could not sustain such a curse for decades or centuries past his death. To such an end, he set up great pillars throughout the land, massive magical relays drawing power from confluences of leylines. Although his enemies tried to remove them, Diomedes had granted the pillars the ability to fly, and they always returned to their places, even after being thrown into the sea.

This Noble Phantasm allows Diomedes to draw mana from leylines at a highly accelerated rate and with extreme efficiency, in order to fuel his Great Rituals. With a sufficient number, Diomedes may not only tap into a country's worth of leylines, but use the network of mystical confluences to spread his spells, allowing him to put spells in place over broad areas at enormous distances without penalty.

Although the pillars are nigh-indestructible and cannot be permanently moved from their place, Diomedes takes a full day to erect each one. It is imperative that he be interrupted as soon as possible.

    Rank: A++
    Type: Anti-Nation
    Range: 30-500
    Maximum Targets: 100,000

    Legend:
Diomedes has been passed down to later generations as one of the greatest heroes in the Trojan War, the wounder of Ares and Aphrodite, and he who put fear into the entire army of Ilium at once. In truth, Diomedes was inferior to most of the great kings at Troy. He had no magical artifacts which could aid him, and he was weak compared to the sons of the gods. Even his great skill, which allowed him the victory over Aias at Patroklos' funeral games, could not avail him in pitched battle.

However, Diomedes had another string to his bow. Unbeknownst to the Trojans (and all the Greeks save cunning Odysseus), he was a magus of the most talented sort, with an expertise in illusions. They were physical, tangible and audible creations which not only seemed real but almost surpassed reality in their detail. With the aid of this, he tricked even mighty opponents to their death or into fearful humiliation. Eventually he discovered the secret of using their belief and terror to empower him in truth, finally raising him to the greatest heights, an equal to powerful Aias and Odysseus of the twisted mind.

Odysseus was his greatest friend and confidant, the two tricksters plotting and planning the fall of Troy together. It was their expedition which discovered the Trojan scout Dolon and forced all his secrets from him, so that they could slaughter the sleeping Thracians and their king. And it was another raid which brought the sacred Palladion out of Troy, one of the prophesied conditions for its fall. Each had a mind and power to fear; the combination was perhaps the most formidable enemy Troy ever had, even above raging Achilles.

After the war, Diomedes suffered the usual travails of the Achaeans who had survived the war – Athene and Aphrodite were angered, though for far different reasons. Though he managed the journey home, he had lost his city to his wife and her adulterous lover, whilst his men were changed into swans as revenge for the scar he put on Aphrodite. Still, Hera's favour kept him alive, and though he never regained the kind of power he had held as lord of Argos, he died a contented man, even having made peace with Aeneas and the last Trojans when he discovered that they had both come to Italy for their final years.

    Notes:
    1) Noble Phantasm names translate as 'Unceasing Fire' and 'Unmoving Pillars' (from the description of him going into battle at Iliad 5.4 and Lycophron's Alexandra line 625 respectively).

    2) This slightly odd take on Diomedes came from lots of little things adding up. The massive curse he just seems to be able to cast over Daunus' land, along with the flying pillars (seriously, the heck?). The way he somehow exchanges armour with another warrior in the Iliad – when his own is only worth 9 oxen, and the set he receives is worth 100. The take that Dan Simmons had in his Ilium/Olympos duology, which is often in the back of my mind when thinking about Iliadic Servants – wherein the gods are perfect examples of Clarke's Third Law, and the fire set on Diomedes' helm is far from literal.

    3) From the first, he became a magus. From the second and third, he became a sneaky illusionist, albeit with some skill at arms (this is specifically skill with weapons, not a general brilliance in battle, hence EAM instead of EotM). The low value of his armour prompted me to decide that he didn't get any nice magical items which I could hypothetically have made from his Iliad exploits (and I was certainly thinking about using the Palladion too).

    4) AD&D mechanics for illusions can be so hilariously broken.

    5) Diomedes and Odysseus do often get to go on these little journeys together – the capturing of Dolon and killing of Rhesus in Iliad 10; the theft of the Palladion; the retrieval of Philoktetes the archer. It seemed like they should end up good friends in my version, and Diomedes revealing that all his glory was based on illusions to Odysseus alone is based on that.

    6) All my Servants in this thread are based on this same, silly, 'Hypothetically Perfect, Yet Non-Specific' Master, just because I can't be arsed to keep deciding, and I want to show them off at near-full power. And just typing Ilya all the time is boring and kind of restricting for what they might actually do in a Grail War. (Diomedes, obviously, would really benefit from taking over the Ryūdō Temple instead of sitting in the Einzbern forest).

Indeed! I had a hard time thinking stuff up about him, so that is why I asked in the first place. But yes, I did not expect him to be a Caster at all, maybe Rider or Saber? However, I did really like it, especially the way it only makes sense in the Nasuverse, haha (something I think more people should aim for when making Servants!). A question though, does he come with a nameless sword (like Medusa's nails), does the master have to acquire on for him or can he make one himself using Item Creation?

I guess I should be asking, in the way I usually do ask these things... but why is his AGI B+? (keep in mind that not a single Servant in FSN except Lancer (his NP stat, after using Gae Bolg thrown version) had a + modifier on their Parameters unless they exceeded A). Why not just B or A? I just really think stuff like this unnecessarily muddles up the absoluteness that the stats are meant to convey. Too ambiguous! Well, I guess I will be adding this particular criticism to every single post if I continue being stubborn about this...

That was a very interesting take on Diomedes, wasn't expecting that.

Indeed. As above, Caster was unexpected -- this is the first version of Servant!Diomedes I've seen that wasn't a Lancer.

Interesting - what exact part makes you say that?

A question though, does he come with a nameless sword (like Medusa's nails), does the master have to acquire on for him or can he make one himself using Item Creation?
If I wanted to put him in a 'fic and involve him a lot, I'd make him have to create it, as another way to delay him deploying the Unmoving Pillars and then smashing everyone. The intention, though, particularly since his 'secondary' heroic property in this imagining is skill with weapons, was to give him a nameless spear and shield from the start.

(keep in mind that not a single Servant in FSN except Lancer (his NP stat, after using Gae Bolg thrown version) had a + modifier on their Parameters unless they exceeded A). Why not just B or A? Yeah, it's spread around a lot in fan creations compared to the source (albeit Extra has some more variety in your opponents, and Apocrypha, straddling the divide, went a little wilder too). I get what you're saying, but it does allow just those edges of differentiation which I enjoy having - little extra dividing lines to put your Servant up or down the comparative power scale.

I guess I should be asking, in the way I usually do ask these things... but why is his AGI B+?
In this case, it's because I wanted my skilled Diomedes to be able to have the extra fine edge of control necessary to believable be a weapons master (especially one that could defeat Aias). The trigger for the doubling is handling one of the sorts of weapons with which he trained himself to extraordinary skill in his lifetime.

Heheh. I aim to surprise. Actually, that wasn't precisely the intent. I enjoyed the diversion, and fleshing it out, but it really did just come to me as an idea that I couldn't shake. Besides, I could have tried to make Diomedes interesting as a straight combatant, but a less straightforward approach seemed like it might intruige people more and would have more variety. Lancer (or Rider, just as easily, since he's often 'horse-taming Diomedes' in the Iliad) risked being just a bully of gods and men. Powerful, and potentially 'awesome' (in that tired, overused way*), but there were other approaches to be taken.

    * Alright, alright, I do exactly this whenever I make things associated with Herakles. OTOH, there's only so many ways you can play it with the combined force of Greek myth and Nasu's depiction of him.

Looked around a bit and haven't found any actual versions of Diomedes as Lancer, just vague suggestions that he might fit (and dumb opinions on Greek mythology in the same general vicinity, but I'm having to get used to that). Have you actually found a full version of him? If so, would you mind pointing me that way?

    Servant Class: Berserker or Assassin
    True Name: Toriko
    Gender: Male
    Alignment: Neutral Good
    Noble Phantasm: D+ to A
    Strength: A
    Endurance: B-
    Agility: B
    Mana: D
    Mana Burst: C
    Luck: B
    Bravery: A+
    Charisma: C+

Background: One of the Four Heavenly Kings of the Gourmet Age. AKA The Glutton. From a young age Toriko realized the happiness that food brings and went on a great adventure to assemble the world's greatest ingredients. To make his full course dinner Toriko trained under the President of the IGO company and had his body enhanced by Gourmet Cells collected from a special jellyfish. While undergoing training he met the President's other students: Sani, Coco, and Zebra. Together they would eventually become the Four Heavenly Kings.
Years after his training Toriko still hadn't discovered any foods that could fit his criteria. He took up a job as a Bishoku-ya, a proffesional gourmet food hunter. Many of the most delicious foods in Toriko's world were difficult to obtain because they were dangerous animals or well hidden plants and fungi. He met his partner, chef companion (someone has to cook the food he captures), Komatsu, a five star chef with dreams of cooking the most exotic foods ever. The duo went on many journeys to find the ingredients that would become Toriko's legendary meal.

    Ablities
Intimidation: Can release killing intent powerful enough to paralyze foes for only a few seconds, but that is enough time needed to kill.

Acquired Poison Immunity: Exactly what it says. Because of the many venomous and poisonous creatures inhabiting his world, Toriko was infected with hundreds of them. His body, enhanced by Gourmet Cells, created antibodies. He is unaffected by this major aspect of the Assassin Class.

Enhanced Body: Due to the introduction of special jellyfish Gourmet Cells in his body his senses are many time stronger

Kugi Punch: Actually a series of punches made at the same time in series of 3-10 at a time.

Utensils: The Fork, Knife, and Ice Pick are a unique set of moves used to subdue, capture and hunt developed by Toriko with his Enhanced Body. By forming his hands or feet into a resemblance of the utensil he could mimic their piercing and cutting powers to the point where they could go through solid metals and reinforced concrete.

Flame Hand: Though Toriko's mana may be low he possessed some control of magic in his life. He uses his hands to emulate a match stick and creates enough friction to make a small fire in his palms. However, he didn't use it in his life for battle or hunting, just to light his cigar branches for smoking.

Knocking: With Hunting experiences Toriko gained a deep understanding of the physiology of many fantasic and basic creatures. By identifying and striking weak points Toriko is able to temporarily paralyze opponents.

Food Honor: During his journey Toriko's training at the Gourmet Temple resulted in a near death experience via starvation. It was in that near death state that he learned constant gratitude towards all food, not just food for the body, but for the mind as well (ie experiences and emotions). With Food Honor brought to the highest limits he uses only the smallest amount of energy to destroy buildings and greatly reduces the mana cost needed to maintain his existences, but only when his Master exudes Food Honor as well.

    IIIIIIIIII
    Weaknesses:
Starvation/Self-consumption - Toriko needs to eat large amounts of high calorie foods to sustain himself or a large amount of mana otherwise his body will slowly feed on itself and break down so that Toriko will continue to live until a painful and hungry death overcomes him.
    IIIIIIIIII

    Noble Phantasms:
    IIIIIIIIII
Knocking Gun (D+): Though Toriko did fight many times with his bare fists he did exercise finesse out of necessity for dealing with certain animals. He combined this device with his Knocking knowledge to subdue special creatures. An example would be the Puffer Whale fish, whose flesh was highly valued but due to having a dangerous poison sack that could rupture and make the fish inedible it was rare for anyone to eat its untainted meat. This device uses its thin yet strong needle point to release a powerful jolt of electricity to subdue foes.

    IIIIIIIIII
Full Course Dinner (ranges from C-A depending on what is eaten) - This Noble Phantasm is the full course meal Toriko spent his life to capture. By consuming a course he can gain an temporary boost and special abilities.

    Drink: N/A

Hors Devoure: B.B. (Blue Blood) Popcorn - Utensils gain long range up to 100 meters of distance

Soup: Century Soup - Due to the many flavors present in the legendary soup said to bring a smile and pure joy to any consumer Toriko's magical resistance and sensitivity increases

    Salad: N/A

    Fish: N/A

    Meat: N/A

Main: GOD - The Legendary food that brought peace to Toriko's war torn world and ushered in the Gourmet Age. After consumed Toriko gains a huge boost in strength, stamina, agility, and endurance as well as increased magical resistance.

Dessert: Rainbow Fruit - The fruit that is said to contain all the sweet flavors in existence. Just one drop of this fruit will turn an entire pool into a delicious punch.

Because of the Nature of this Noble Phantasm series Toriko is able to share it with his Master so that they too may experience the joy of food as well as the enhancements they give.

    ----------
What do you all think? If you haven't read Toriko I recommend it, but bring some snacks because you'll probably never have food as delicious as the ones in this story. Bacon leaves mmmmm...

The only version I can recall seeing off-hand was at Fate/Nuovo Guerra, that Grail War RP site. It was an unapproved profile, which combined with the site's views on how Servants should be put together means it's not very good. Can be found here, though be warned of poor quality.

I'm preetty sure I've seen another version of Diomedes as Lancer, but I can't recall where I saw it unfortunately.
We knew the forum would not be the same. A few people , a few people , most people were . I remembered the line from the Nasu scripture, the Fate/Complete Material... "Now, I am become Death, the derailer of threads."

Well, here's a few ideas. I dunno if they've been done before, but I'll apreciate any comments that help me improve.

    SPOILERS AHEAD!

    Such misfortune…

    Class: Avenger
. While not a malicious person in life, he fought against every religious and supernatural organization at least once during his life. That, along with his ability of destroying God’s miracles, labeled him a heretic. He can only be summoned by someone who values other’s smiles and well-being above his own and has used no reagent.

    Name: Kamijou Touma.

    Alignment: Chaotic Good.

    Parameters
    .

Strength: D (C). For a self-proclaimed “ordinary high-school student”, Kamijou Touma has shown surprising feats of power in the right circumstances.
Endurance: C (B). Kamijou Touma is much more durable and resistant to damage than his physical appearance may suggest, being capable of taking great amounts of punishment and keep fighting.
Agility: D. While faster than the average person, Kamijou Touma cannot perform impossible feats. Still, he’s shown remarkable speed while avoiding attacks.
Mana: E. Kamijou Touma had no magic circuits in life and is completely incapable of using prana in any way. Still, he needs the flow from a Master to stay in this world.

Luck: E-. Kamijou Touma is not only incapable of fighting against fate, but is also incredibly unlucky in the popular meaning of the word.

    Noble Phantasm: A.

    Class Skills.

    None.

    Personal skills.

Battle continuation: C (B). Surprisingly durable and impossibly stubborn, Kamijou Touma will never, ever, surrender. Incredible punishment or one hit surprise assassination are the only ways of bringing him down.

Charisma: D. Kamijou Touma can easily befriend enemies after defeating them. People of the Good or Neutral alignment will easily find him likeable and become close to him.

Eye of the mind (false): C++. Being a person that brought misfortune around him in his younger years, Kamijou Touma was hunted and attacked quite frequently. This allowed him to develop a sixth sense to detect attacks at him, but a skilled or talented fighter can overcome that protection. In addition, after Kamijou entered the world of supernatural battle, he was hurt by an obscene amount of supernatural attacks, much more than a normal human could survive. Thanks to that, his sixth sense in detecting any supernatural attacks (that being any kind of mystery or ESP, no matter its nature or origin), borders on precognition.

Guardian Knight: A. Kamijou Touma spent his life protecting the smiles and well-being of those he cherished with no thought of the consequences. When defending someone, Kamijou gets a boost in rank in his STR and END parameters as well as boosting his Battle Continuation Skill.

    Noble Phantasm.
Imagine Breaker: B. (Shield). The absolute anti-mystery shield, residing in Kamijou Touma’s right hand. Imagine Breaker will destroy any mystery no matter its nature, origin or intent. Any object created with magic will be destroyed with a touch and even a Noble Phantasm’s prana discharge will be nullified, no matter its power. Kamijou is also immune to any type of mental attack. However, greater mysteries will require more time to be dispelled, and Kamijou cannot be healed by supernatural means nor can Imagine Breaker protect any part of his body except his right hand. Imagine Breaker does not protect against physical attacks, but physical attacks made with magic constructions will be nullified. The only exception Imagine Breaker accepts is the entering of the Master’s prana inside Kmaijou’s body to let his exist.
“The Invisible Thing”: A. (Anti-Unit). The Invisible Thing is a mysterious entity residing inside Kamijou Touma’s body and being held back by Imagine Breaker. As such, The Invisible Thing can only be used if Imagine Breaker is removed from the body of Kamijou via removal of his right hand. Kamijou can subdue it by force of will, but cannot control its actions. Taking the form of a crystal dragon head, The Invisible Thing uses massive amount of a mysterious energy to deal damage the ignores protections. However, it can be defeated by the use of a greater mystery.

    Well, this is familiar…

    Class:
Saber, Lancer, Archer, Rider; depends on the reagent used and the intention of the summoner. The use of Derflinger as a reagent is necessary to summon him as Saber and the Dragon Raiment is necessary to summon him as Rider.

    Name: Hiraga Saito.
    Alignment: Chaotic Good.

    Parameters
    .

    Strength: E (B+)
    Endurance: E (C+)
    Agility: E (A)

    Mana: E

    Luck: B
    Noble Phantasm: B

    Class skills.

As Saber, Lancer and Archer: Independent Action: A.
As Rider: Riding: B+. Can handle any kind of vehicle that falls under the category of ‘weapon’, no matter its origin.

    Personal Skills

    All classes:

Battle Continuation: C. Can still fight even when suffering great injuries.

Bravery: A. Can ignore any kind of mental interference while in battle.

Gandalfr: A+. Gives a great boost in the STR, END and AGI parameters and allows mastery of any weapon in existence, no matter its origin, as long as Hiraga Saito has a weapon in his hand. Is necessary to activate the rest of his skills.
As Saber: Disengage: D. Not Hiraga Saito’s skill, but Derflinger’s. Using stored prana, Derflinger can teleport the one wielding it to safety.
As Lancer and Archer: Prana Burst: D. Hiraga Saito cannot make good use of prana, but the Gandalfr Skill gives him instinctual knowledge of battle applications of it. Hiraga Saito can boost the power and speed of his attacks on a level similar to reinforcement.

    Noble Phantasm

    All classes.

Defeater of the Seventy Thousand: B (Anti-Army). Hiraga Saito managed to fight and stall an enemy army of 70000 all by himself. When fighting against a numerically superior enemy, Hiraga Saito can erect a Bounded Field that gives him a Rank Up in the STR and END parameters and the enemy is unable to go anywhere Saito doesn’t want them to go until Hiraga is either victorious or killed.

As Saber:Derflinger: B. Derfingler is a sentient longsword capable of absorbing prana. That prana can be used for the Disengage Skill. The time needed to absorb a spell is proportional with the strength of said spell. Derflinger can be broken by a spell of ‘A’ strength or above, but its sentience will travel to another sword, which will gain all its attributes and rank.

Stay always at a safe distance.

    Class
    : Saber (Fake Berserker)

    Name: Guts.

    Alignment: Chaotic Neutral.
Strength: C+ (A+). Having been a soldier from childhood, Guts body has been trained more than any human being should conceivably need.
Endurance: B (A). Guts is not only stubborn, he’s capable of ignoring pain to a ridiculous degree. His fury and determination allow him to receive far more punishment that a normal human could.
Agility: C (A). Guts is a giant. Standing well above many of his peers and sporting a massive build, Guts is still faster than most men will ever be and agile enough to avoid projectiles.
Mana: C. Guts has zero magical aptitudes and is incapable of using prana in the usual ways. Still, he’s capable of using magical artifacts and sports affinity for detecting supernatural phenomena.

Luck: B. Guts hates the word ‘fate’. He will struggle, fight and bite against fate and and will defy destiny any time he can and other’s he can’t. He usually succeeds.

    Noble Phantasm: A.

    Class Skills:

Mad Enhancement: C. Rank up for all parameters except Luck and Mana, but in exchange one can no longer think and speak properly. Only under the effect of the Berserker Armor.

Magic Resistance: A: Cancel spells of A-Rank or below. In practice, the Servant is untouchable to modern magi, so it would not be an exaggeration to title the Servant a "Magus Killer". Only under the effect of the Berserker Armor.

    Personal Skills
    :

Battle continuation: B+. Incredibly resistant due to having suffered more injuries that he can count, Guts can keep fighting when he should have been dead already. When under the curse of the Berserker Armor, this skill suffers a Rank Up.

Natural Body: C. In addition to his training, Guts was born with an impressive body. Taller and stronger naturally than many men can ever hope to be, his strength is always in Rank Up.

Eye of the Mind (True): B. Guts has been fighting all his life. As such, he’s developed great hindsight and is an intelligent warrior. So long there is even a 1% chance of a comeback, this ability greatly improves the chances of winning. This Skill cannot be used under the curse of the Berserker Armor.

    Noble Phantasm.

Struggler: A (Passive). Guts has fought against impossible odds more times that he’s comfortable admitting. As such, there’s no battle Guts can’t win, period. No matter how outmatched, how grievously injured or how impossible it is, as long as Guts and his Master are alive, there’s hope for victory. The World itself acknowledges this and will bend the rules of reality to allow Guts a small chance at victory. Still, it’s Guts’ job to make use of that chance.

The Black Swordsman: A (Passive). Guts spent most of his adult life fighting against inhuman monsters. His power and fame grew so much, it transcends time. Any enemy that possesses a non-human ancestor will feel intimidated by Guts and will have to make a LCK check. If it fails, the enemy will suffer a Rank down in his STR and END parameters.
Berserker Armor: A (Equipment). A cursed armor given to Guts by a witch, when used it will give him the Mad Enhancement and the Magic Resistance Skills and change his class to Fake Berserker. It will also boost his STR, END and AGI parameters and his Battle Continuation skills, but will rob him of his Eye of the Mind (True) skill and capacity to distinguish friend from foe. Guts cannot get rid of the armor on his own and will have to be pulled out by his Master by either diving into Guts’ mind or the use of a Command Spell.

I tried to avoid OP servants, but I think Guts is pretty boderline... To be honest, I'm not sure about his NP,but the Dragonslayer seemed just so overused I wanted to work more on accomplishments that equipment, similar to Herakles.

good job with it...but the dragonslayer is a pretty important piece of the legend of the black swordsman...it should at least get a mention IMHO.

Still, pretty nicely dne, but you might want to consider giving him EoTM(F) sense he got byon reflexes more than planing.

Oh, look Touma as a Servant, and as Avenger at that. Woohoo.
He gets summoned! IB activates! Bye bye Touma!
One less Servant to deal with.
