Class Skills
Mad Enhancement (C): Rank up for all parameters except Luck and Prana, but in exchange one can no longer think and speak properly.
Personal Skills:
Demonic Infusion (A): The ability to utilize the demonic energy that courses through one’s veins.
Near the end of the Azerothian Third War, Berserker was forced to use the Skull of Gul’dan in order to defeat the dreadlord Tichondrius. This artifact infused his body with a plethora of demonic energy, and in the coming years would even begin to shift his appearance. In time he would grow bat-like wings, horns, and hooves. Even his footsteps would start to leave burning hoot-prints in the ground.
Although Berserker had originally been a Night Elf, by the end of his life, he could easily be considered another being entirely.
Sacrificial Vision (D): The ability to recognize the presence of other beings through magic alone. Although they have no capability for normal physical sight, their vision is replaced with a maddening display of violet colours. When the ability is honed, it can become far superior to any normal sight, and can be used to see things at extreme distances or even to look through physical obstructions.
Due to Mad Enhancement, Berserker’s control over it has weakened. It can still be used for normal sight, but anything beyond that is unlikely. The display of colours that Berserker once used to hunt his targets now has become something that only furthers his never-ending madness.
Berserker was originally granted this ability when Sargeras, lord of the Burning Legion, burned way his eyes with magic fire.
Prana Burst (Flames) (B+): The increase in performance caused by infusing one's weapons with magical energy and instantly expelling it, imparting a flame effect.
In Berserker’s case, he often uses his body itself as a weapon, immolating his entire body in a raging inferno.
Instinct (A): The power to "feel" the most favorable developments for oneself during battle. Refined sixth sense is now close to true precognition. Bonus effect of reducing by half the penalties caused by obstructed vision and hearing.
Even under Mad Enhancement, Berserker’s refined instincts still allow him to avoid danger and turn the tide of battle.
Noble Phantasms:
Warglaives of Azzinoth: The Blades of the Betrayer (Anti Unit, B): A set of two large, green warglaives that go perfect with Berserker’s fighting style.
When Berserker is not attacking with them he can use them to spawn two large ‘Flames of Azzinoth’. These Flames come forth from each blade and begin burning Berserker’s enemies with a variety of attacks. Although they cannot stray too from the blades themselves, they can easily cause great damage in a short amount of time.
Berserker obtained these twin blades during the War of the Ancients after he slew the doomguard Azzinoth. He would use them for the rest of his life, using them to fight enemies such as Arthas (who would later become the Lich King) and the Pit Lord Magtheridon.
It is unknown what happened to them after his death atop The Black Temple. Some say that one of the mighty Champions of Azeroth claimed the twin blades for their own, but others say that they became lost forever. Yet no matter the truth, the fact still remains that these blades will always symbolize the fury of the Betrayer, and his endless lust for power.
Metamorphosis: The Demon Within (Anti Unit (Oneself), A): An integral ability that allows Berserker to shift into something that could be considered a True Demon. It paints his skin in a shadowy aura, and allows him to utilize attacks of pure demonic power. While active, it boosts all of his parameters except Luck and Prana.
Due to Mad Enhancement, Berserker has lost some control over this ability. When Berserker’s emotions become intense, such as during a fight, he will begin to shift between his two forms erratically. Certain parts of his body may become transformed, while others will stay as normal, resulting in his already unnatural appearance becoming even more freakish. This lack of control causes a heavy strain on his Master, even more so than a normal Berserker.
However, despite the erratic nature, Berserker is still capable of completely transforming if he desires.
In life, Berserker would first utilize this power during the Third War. After being freed from an imprisonment of 10,00 years by Tyrande Whisperwind, Berserker had joined his Night Elven brethren to defend Azeroth against the Burning Legion. In Felwood, Arthas; the champion of the Lich King, would tell him about the powers of the “Skull of Gul’dan”, a demonic artifact that was corrupting the forests of Felwood. Berserker would eventually find this artifact and consume it entirely, transforming himself into a demon wrapped in shadow. He would then use this newfound power to defeat the dreadlord Tichondrius, and save Felwood from the Legion’s forces.
However, he would later be banished because of his actions by his own brother, Malfurion Stormrage.
