    Another day, another Set in the TCG has been fully revealed and updated on the official website. This time it's "Across Time" and focuses heavily on the "Young Hunters" anime as a theme which means this set has a whopping 12 Tamer cards included which is double the normal amount. As a sub-theme there is the "food" related Digimon throughout as the Burgermon family and related Digimon are included as well.

    Overall a pretty awesome Set and I am very curious what the new LV7 - Quartzmon will do to the meta as its complete shutdown ability sounds OP on paper but time will tell how useful it is.

    Once again I come bearing TCG news, the website has again been updated with another full Set of cards. This time it's EX-04 called "Alternative Being" which as the name implies focuses on alt versions of Digimon so you have stuff like the Savers versions of Agumon and Falcomon as well as the fallen angels BlackSeraphimon and Cherubimon (Vice) to name a few. Probably the most obscure one would be GreyKnightsmon - the (until now) video game only chimeric-fusion of Greymon and DarkKnightmon.

    But my absolute favourite has to be this smug boi...

    Digimon's new thing is a web novel instead of an anime.



    The Digital World—a land entirely unlike that which humans call the real world.This cyberspace built upon the network is home to digital monsters known as Digimon.
    The discovery of these AI lifeforms is both a blessing and a curse to human society, which relies on the network to manage everything in their world.


    Eiji Nagasumi is 19 years old, a "loser" cracker who earns daily money with dangerous work related to the Digital World.
    One day, Professor Ryusenji of the Tokyo Cyber University, entrusts Eiji with a Digimon Linker, the newest model of Digimon dock—along with a Digimon.
    When Eiji meets Loogamon, a Wolf Digimon with a mysterious interface on its head, his life is changed completely.




    JUDGE, a righteous hacker who hates crackers.
    DIGIPOLICE, Investigative Unit Eleven of the Metropolitan Police Department's Cybercrimes Division whose mission is to stop Digimon crimes.

    Ryusenji sends Eiji to infiltrate and investigate SoC.

    By the by, Loogamon has already been added to the Digimon 'Dex.

    Level: Child (Rookie)
    Type: Demon Beast
    Attribute: Virus

    A Demon Beast Digimon that is, because of the outdated Interface on its brow, presumed to be an experimental "Prototype Digimon" from before Digimon were discovered. It is said that the data of the warg from real-world mythology is embedded within the deepest parts of its Digicore, and exhibits behavior so violent that you would not expect it from a Child. At first glance, it looks like a cute puppy, but if one approaches it carelessly, they will suffer a severe counterattack. It has a trait of recognizing those who can control it as its master, and despite being difficult to tame, it can become a reliable companion if one is able to build a trustful relationship with it. Its Special Moves are shooting flames imbued with magical power from its mouth (Howling Fire), and biting with its sharp fangs as it spins (Spiral Bite).


    It being based on a Warg is very interesting. Would not be surprised if its final evolution ends up being Fenrirmon or something.

    Ghost Game confirmed to be ending in three episodes, having the exact same episode count as Adventure: funnily enough.

    The English dub for Ghost Game appears to have just entered pre-production. But given how long it's taken for Adventure:'s dub to air (what 3 years since it was announced?) I won't hold my breath to see GG's dub any time soon.

    Welp, GG for Ghost Game as it finished a couple of days ago and there wasn't any news of a replacement series, so for now we only have the 02 movie and the Seekers web novel to look forward to.

    Craziest thing about this to me is they got the original Kari and Matt back, when they'd been recast in Tri and Kizuna. Sadly some of the OG actors like Mimi/Cody, Joe, and Greymon have passed away, though, so they'll be new.

    Seeing the Paildramon digivolution sequence reanimated hit me hard dude. 02 is the most nostalgic season for me because it was the only one I had tapes of as a kid, so I rewatched it all the time.
