So you guys think this film will be just like Tri and Kizuna in terms of mixed messages and critical responses/reviews?

Yes.
Please stop at 02 and stay away from Tamers.

We already talked about it (in this very thread if I recall correctly) so I'm sure it's pretty easy to check either way.
Actually I got it wrong on two fronts, not only did I get the year wrong for "Digimon Tamers 2021", which whilst the new D-Reaper having an attack called "Cancel Culture" is both unsubtle and cringe...turns out that it wasn't even what I was talking about at all. What I was actually thinking of was the 2018 Tamers Audio Drama "Days -Information and the Unordinary-" which a lot of fans despise and choose to ignore.

When I looked into it I only found the 2018 date, but thought 2020 might've been the date of the english dub or something so I kept quiet.
Regardless, my mood is ruined, just as Skull intended. Congrats.
Personally I didn't even know about the Tamers audio dramas until they were mentioned a couple months ago either here or on SpaceBattles, so I don't really have that much attachment to them, besides the fact that the writer should stay away from conspiracy theory websites for the rest of his life. As for Tri and Kizuna, while they have their fans, I'm not going to be one of them. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure their fine films, but only on a technical level (and even that's not a perfect job from the errors I've seen and heard). Emotionally and on a lore/characterization level they're complete flops in my opinion, but as I'm a bit of a maverick when it comes to popular opinion remarks I'm sure others can comment on their defense. It is what it is: Toei did their best to get Adventure fans back into their product, but it didn't work for me.
Tri is absolutely awful in both story, nostalgia and animation
At least Kizuna is a better Rebuild movie
Well I suppose that's what one gets when I haven't seen either entry in quite a long while.
Don't ever tell me the JPN don't make weird ass commercials.
Apparently it's a remake of the original commercial 25 years ago for the original Pendulum but still...

In addition to the webnovel "Digimon Seekers", they're also making another project which is "Digimon Liberator".

For the two people who care, Digimon Liberators has gotten an update. We now know the names of the two heroes and their Partner Digimon.
Shoto Kazama and Arisa Kinosaki
In addition, we also got the Champion forms of their Partners revealed as well.

Still the best Digimon game IMO.
