Holy fuck they're finally doing it
Playstation Blog did a feature on the reveal, clarifying some details.
Plus some stuff from the official Bandai page:
- Game audio will be Japanese and English.
- Game text localization will have English, neutral Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese.
- We expect additional text options in Europe and elsewhere, although that isn't listed on the European page yet.

So hype for this. Hoping they spread out the Digivolve levels a bit so you get to use each one a little longer. Or, at least, Perfect/Ultimate since it always feels like the stage that gets the least amount of play-time in every game that features it. Rookie's play-time is usually pretty low too, but when they use that as the base form it kind of makes sense.
Also hoping all the Digimon from Cyber Sleuth return, plus new ones. But also rebalanced, because holy crap they were unbalanced back then.
I hope this one actually has a combat system.
The previous ones were fun enough as a digimon fan, but if I wasn't one I wouldn't have lasted 10 hours.
A Digimon game having English dub audio is actually crazy, I think the only one that has before was World Next Order. That they went through the effort to pay for another language track for this one tells me it's not on a shoestring budget like Digimon games usually are.
Key art with the protagonists and I assume our three starter choices:

Aegiomon is in the trailer too, and he's Jupitermon's rookie stage. I'm guessing this area is like their equivalent of Mt. Olympus.
If you ever need a reminder that you're getting old, remember that Cyber Sleuth just turned a decade old.

The biggest highlights from this year's DigiCon~
Digimon Adventure Beyond - a 25th Anniversary special.
A new Digimon anime coming later this year - Digimon Beatbreak.
Digimon Alysion - a TCG app game thing.

The Digimono Adventure video was better than I expected. I really went in just thinking it'd be Matt and Tai, so I'm glad it included everyone including the 02 cast. And damn those teases of Dark Ocean stuff with TK and Kari in it. Some day they'll wrap up that subplot, some day...
About the teaser for the new anime. My thoughts can be summed up as follows: This was certainly not the vibe I was expecting going in. The music and the graffiti gives me very cyberpunk Sci-Fi feels which I am all for. The glasses instead of goggles and kingdom hearts shoes look a little goofy when alongside the more serious mood, but I hope its to create a balance where it doesn't feel too edgy.
"Devouring emotions" though, I'll have to see the execution but that does sound a bit close to how the Digimon in Ghost Game messed with humans so hopefully it's still fresh and unique.
Lastly, the partner Digimon being some kind of gecko thing makes me hope we don't get yet another dragon final evolution, make it a dinosaur or something interesting at least.

I was also worried they'd go too edgy but look at that chameleon bro. That's a silly boy. His human partner is there aura farming but he's sillymaxxing.
I have seen some interesting theories online, particularly the one where the crescent moon-like thing on the partner's forehead is a pun because of Gecko and "Gekkou/月光" (Moonlight).

The main booster sets are labeled BT. There's also some smaller sets that have code names like LB and EX (I imagine they mean "limited" and "extra" respectively, but not sure). Early sets were super bland, and knowing it'd remain super bland until... I think it was BT8, isn't very enticing to whaling.
It'd also mean being like 5 years behind on card releases, if not 6 depending on how long it takes for the app to come out. Even more so since BT22 and BT23 are highly anticipated sets, finally focusing on Cyber Sleuth and Hacker's Memory (respectively).
That hit anime...DanKanan.
