Oh don't get me wrong. While this does give me some...weird feelings since Tamers was always a very important show for me as a kid and it was my favorite even when I first watched it, I am also laughing his ass off at the whole situation. I mean, this is like a fucking Onion article, but IRL and somehow even weirder.
Also, when I think about it, for someone who was always as out there as Konaka (he did do Series Experiments Lain, after all), it isn't a huge leap in logic (at least for me) to think that he might have gone of the deep end at some point.
The thing I'm REALLY curious about though is how many people at Bandai (or whoever organized this) greenlighted this, or if it was a situation of only the voice cast seeing the script.
Wasn't Lain always about conspiracies and control? It's just that people get triggered when someone accuses that stuff of coming from the other side.
The Digimon TCG website have uploaded the Card List for the latest Booster Pack "Next Adventure" which despite the deceptive title is mostly a Frontier based set with a bit of Xros Wars and Chronicle thrown in.
Loving the new gimmicks such as the Frontier kids having Inheritable Skills like Digimon as well as Susanoomon being able to evolve from all Colours and be like "taste the rainbow!"

The latest TV guide confirms that Digimon Adventure: will wrap up with its final 67th episode on the 25th of September with "Digimon: Ghost Game" debuting the following week on the 3rd of October.
It's sad but as one door closes another opens I suppose. Hopefully GG will be just as good.

Doing a Digimon as paranormal creatures angle is something I'm really interested in.
With less than two weeks to go before "Ghost Game" debuts on television, all the Partner Rookies plus their lower forms have been added to the official Digimon Reference Book which gives us their names, attributes and whatnot plus some new art.

On a completely different subject, it was to be expected but the Sistermon Noir card had to be censored for the Western release because "can't have those degenerate nuns amirite?" and so the card was redrawn with her "twin sister" Sistermon Ciel.

I was about to say "but we've known that for months", but I suppose the company's Fiscal Reports that stated that ages ago, while easily obtainable are not something the casual fan would bother seeking out.
Looks like the ol' phrase "a delayed game will be a good one" will really be tested this time.

On a completely different note, the Cardlist for Booster Set 08, "New Hero" has gone up on their website. This is a primarily "Adventure 02" focused one with finally introducing the "Armour" Types as well as Tamers from that show - including Wallace from the movie with his Golden Rapidmon. But also thrown in to fill out the Set is Hiro/Gammamon from "Ghost Game" and some more characters from "Chronicle X" such as Yuuji Misha and his X-Antibody partner Ryudamon.
Overall a pretty good Set methinks. Armours in particular look like they'll be pretty interesting to mess around with.

We have an update to the "Digimon Reference Book", turns out a familiar face in Ghost Game was in fact a brand new face...
Any resemblence to IRL courier services are a total coincidence I swear...
