As previously mentioned, both versions of the Digimon Con stream have now gone up and now that people can pause the footage, some interesting things have been noted such as unknown enemies in the Survive trailer...perhaps similar to the Eaters from Cyber Sleuth?

Been re-watching the new Survive footage at quarter speed and you know, between the really fast cuts of what appears to be the MC's childhood (being destroyed by Digimon?), Habu's comments about the Digimon representing the inner self and now these shadow enemies...I'm getting very strong "Persona" vibes from Survive now all of a sudden.

From a web page showing various promotions and such for New Century, we have a teaser for another of the original Digimon being made for the video game. We don't have a Chinese name for this Digimon yet, but it's based on Kun, a giant mythological fish, that changes into Peng, a giant mythological bird.
Everyone and their mother comparing it to Basculegion from Pokémon.

We've had various updates in regards to "Digimon Survive" over the past two days. First the release date is July 28th in Japan and July 29th worldwide. Still no word on whether or not we'll have an ENG dub. But now we have the front and back covers of the packaging.

As can be seen from the back cover, those that pre-order the game will get a free Guilmon unit. However like with all non-Story "recruitable" characters, once you Evolve him he will not revert back to Guilmon, but on the upside his entire line from Guilmon to Dukemon is present.
Do we know if this pre-order thing is available anywhere specific in the US yet?
Not yet, but I would imagine so since IIRC we got all the pre-order bonuses for Cyber Sleuth.

LMAO yep, that's how I ended up with a 3 digit playtime on Cyber Sleuth. I think I ended up making every single Digimon, too.

We have another update on another new Digimon from New Century. This appears to be the silhouette that was first teased around 2 and a half months ago. We don't have a name as of yet, but it appears to be based on costumes worn for the Bian lian, a part of Sichuan opera.
Certainly different from the guess of a platypus that I had made a while ago.

As part of Rulicon 2022 in Korea, we have some new Digimon Survive footage.
The footage is new and looks to be from a recent build of the game judging by the interface. But it still depicts the same old scenario of the (seemingly) first boss in the abandoned school. We can see some of the tactical elements in play like how a bug Digimon is weak to Fire attacks and positioning will factor in since the boss takes slightly extra damage from being hit in locations other than the front.

From the latest issue of V-Jump, we have one last update on Digimon Survive.

The first page pretty much summarises everything gameplay related we knew prior, the route system, the karma system, the evolution system etc etc.
The second page deals more with story and the Kemonogami (Digimon). But more importantly it introduces us to "The Professor" who previously was that old guy in the OP who falls into the Digital World and is attacked by Digimon. Seems he's important after all, though the fact that his name is hidden is super suspicious.
By the by, The Professor is played by Kazuhiro Yamaji who people might recognise as Silver Fang in OPM, Hit in Dragonball Super and Joji Saiga in Psycho-Pass.

Narrated by the Professor, a lot of new footage but still mostly going over the basics of what the game entails from the VN aspect to the SRPG gameplay. Unfortunely no translated version as of yet.

The Steam version of Survive is crashing after the opening so if you're getting the game don't get that one.
Guilmon isn't a pre-order bonus, he's a "buy it within the first month and get his DLC for free" bonus.
