I think he's cool cause he's voiced by the same chick who voiced edward elric. That thought alone nostalgia bombs me every time.

I don't find him a particularly weak character, but to each his own.

The most he does is sit around with mammary lady to provide comic relief. Also sometimes agonizes over hinamori getting hurt.

While that kind of characterisation is vastly superior to what you typically get in bleach, he does not possess
enough attributes to be a 'strong character'.

I liked Naruto back in the day. It was pretty cool beans in the early volumes.

Of course, I'm so far behind that the series will likely be over by the time that I catch up and my opinion of then is wholly irrelevant to current happenings in the manga.

Bleach...I never really ever read Bleach until a little while ago.
