My reaction to KnY's ending chapter: "...who the hell are all these people".

Like, I get the appeal of making a distant future/highschool AU for your characters because you want them to have a happy ending, but guess what? Because you went and killed them all off in ~50 chapters, we never got used to them and with different names I have no idea who is supposed to be who dating whom (well, except the tanjirou and fire pillar stand-ins, those are dead obvious).
Anyway, decent manga, rushed ending, I'll forget all about it by 2025.

So...how about that "Burn the Witch" first chapter eh? Kubo seems to be back to his usual antics.

Random non-sequitur monologues to start the chapter, two protagonists who endlessly banter back 'n forth (plus a wacky sidekick), throwing a bunch of mysterious bad guys at us by the end of the chapter - each with unpronounceable names (seriously WTF is "Cquntnire" supposed to sound like?)

It's kinda sad that BtW will only be four chapters. For as much as the Kubo-isms bug me, I did like the chapter as it reminded me of early Bleach.

Yeah but they're clearly trying to push this brand here. I can't imagine they'd abandon it, specially with Bleach coming back soon (?) for that extra relevance boost.

I'll watch the 1000 Year Blood arc, but reading it was already a chore 4 years ago, especially that damn Gerard Valkyrie fight.

I seriously doubt they were ever planning to kill this hyped up project after just 4 chapters, but Kubo is exactly the kind of guy to write in 15 characters for a oneshot regardless.

I am morbidly curious if the ENG dub of the anime "Burn the Witch" will butcher attempts at accents.

Perhaps it would be best to follow Pokémon's example and not do any accents at all.

TT-sensei evaded the no ending ending or pick one over the others ending and has been doing 'route endings' for each the five best girls.

the order he's doing them is pretty much best girls for last lol.
