Yeah that was pretty good, my heart skipped a beat when the message played out. I was actually scared for a moment.
Also, yeah, I'm betting it's someone copying his voice from the last transmission. I don't think they'd go as far as introducing time travel or something.
My prediction is Tomura will get out from the tube then wipe Endeavor's side

Meliodas named his baby Tristan and Ban named his baby Lancelot.
not surprising somehow haha.
I gave a little manga called Jigokuraku (variously translated as Hell's Paradise, Hellven, Heaven and Hell, etc.) a spin recently. It's okay. The art is pretty slick, the characters are an interesting bunch, and the premise of a bunch of hardened criminals and their executioners exploring a monster-infested island that may not be of this world is an interesting one.
So why don't I like it more than I do?
I've got a bad case of Seen It All Before. It feels like the latest installment in what I've come to think of as the "battle-mystery shounen" genre. It reminds me of Claymore and Attack on Titan and Terraformars in that these characters are thrown into the grinder of some horrific threat -- the Yoma, the Titans, the Martian cockroaches, the island's "gods" -- that kills off a bunch of red shirts to raise the stakes before the central cast emerges as more-or-less invincible and starts getting at the heart of just what these monsters are and where they came from. AoT sells like hotcakes, and I really like Claymore. It's not a bad formula. I've just read too much of it.
Maybe I'm not giving this a fair shake. Following in the footsteps of something wildly successful isn't a bad move.
I will also say it's absurd how much the seies relies on death fake-outs. Gabimaru, the analytical ninja hero, is constantly planning his next move. This leads to a lot of moments where he approaches the enemy and we see him decapitated/impaled/ripped apart. But then the very next panel snaps back to him being just fine because it was all in his head. He was only envisioning what would happen if he approached the enemy carelessly. This happens ALL. THE. TIME. Only forty chapters in, and this has happened about twenty times.
It just released its ninetieth chapter, though, and someone said it may be a shorter series, given that it looks like it's in its final run. I guess I'll keep going if I'm about halfway.
Once I catch up, I'll probably give a Korean manhwa called Veritas a try. I have heard a lot of good things. I'm sure a reread of Psyren is in my near future, too. Got to do something to keep myself from going stir crazy in these antisocial days.
Spoiler:
As much as I adored Veritas, be forewarned that it ended on a Part 1 back in 2010 with Part 2 looking less likely as the years go by.
As a result, it has a very much non-ending despite all the build up. Kinda like if DBZ suddenly stopped after the Goku/Piccolo beat Raditz but before Vegeta and Nappa showed up. ;/
ive read veritas but i literally dont remember anything except the mc was a thunder chad and that purple girl was hot
i cant even give a single sentence synopsis of it

Who knows, might as well let Kubo do his job properly this time.
Not dealing with it...
Why even try?
This is golden...
Kubo is excellent when the series is no dragged.
*Sniff* It's so beautiful. T_T
I don't really follow the anime adaptation, but getting to see best girl sing her heart out animated (and voiced!) made my heart grow three sizes today.
Huh. I thought that the English was too good during the episode, turns out they actually got an English singer to do the it.
