True, but look, I'm not saying every soldier is a heroic spirit, I'm just saying someone in the modern era who outclasses every other soldier in either tactics or whatever is HS material.

Problem is the rule of modern weapons, I dont think many people think the guy with a hand gun has it easier than the guy who can move faster than sound, sure the challenge thing but not all HS had the same level of challenge did they?

Gil was not the first king or whatever, but he is the first hero recorded on the Throne, hence oldest in the sense of addition. Karna and Arjuna at that time were probably just some unknown Indian.

And how does Lugulbanda not count as a HS if you read his myth, he seemed to be much faster than any human since he was blessed by a anzu bird, he crossed 7 mountain ranges within a day.
