The cameo Servants are better. At least Shiki/Illya/Irisviel don't try to disguise their inclusion though some ridiculously flimsy excuse.

Really? I at least like that there's SOME justification for the inclusion of the divine and hero pseudo-Servants, and in the case of the Divine ones, I like the way they've been presented. The cameo ones just, I don't know, they just stretch the limits of what's summonable and how the Throne works or whatever.

As a Zero secondary, I'd say it worked. Seeing Waver be somewhat of a true badass is just awesome. Sure he's a support Servant, but still, way more badass than his human self.

Also, after seeing the beach volleyball match in Emiya Chi no Gohan, I now want a spinoff in which Servant pairs engage each other in extreme beach volleyball, reference totally intended.

when you have stuff like sigurd punching daggers, i would much rather have that be done by someone with Sigurd's powers with their own personal twist on things rather than butchering the actual character
