    Y'know, I wonder if Nasu giving Lancer Runes all the way back in OG Fate was a sign he was thinking of Scáthach-Skaði in some format already. Obviously I don't mean he planned out Lostbelts or anything back then, but it does strike me as an odd appellation to Lancer's character since even back in Mats III they specify Scáthach taught him "Norse Runes" - complete in brackets and everything.
