The biggest change would just be people making more "Mash Potatoes" jokes.

He's already forgiven Lancelot, they're great friends.
Gawain's entire character is overdoing the loyalty thing because he's so regretful over pursuing Lancelot instead of staying and helping Artoria. He's not holding onto that grudge.
