shit BL says
Once and always and nevermore.
"This artstyle with an emphasis on saturation as the base for darkness really harkens back to the olden days. Also, L E A T H E R"

Spoiler:
You can't spell Brunestud without STUD happy birthday princess
<NEW FIC!> Revolution #9: Somewhere out there, there's a universe in which your mistakes and failures never happened, and all you wished for is true. How hard would you fight to make that real?
[11:20:46 AM] GlowStiks: lucina is supes attractive
[12:40] Lace: lucina is amazing
[12:40] Neir: lucina is pretty much flawless
Eiyuu Senki is known for gender-bending, while Fate is known for occasionally gender-bending. Koei Warriors' games rarely gender-bents, but they still gender-bent Sanzang. I feel like it's to drive home to point of "partaking in her flesh". Though, at this point, Sanzang (any of the 3 versions) could sell her bath water as "totally legitimate holy water".
Sanzang was always unnaturally pretty, even as a dude in JttW, so I guess genderbending Golden Cicada makes some sense, though I think it would have been more interesting to make them androgynous and gender-nonconforming like Enkidu.
I'm going bitter. I either disliked or ignored everything that was released this year.

Spoiler:
On the one hand, I'm sorry, but you're still too young for that. On the other, it's not as if this year hasn't been even more screwed up than usual, and you're not under any obligation to enjoy things. I guess my only advice - if you *are* unsatisfied with the current state of things - is to take another look; it shouldn't be difficult to set up a list of everything that was released this year and go over it.
With all the good stuff this year, there was also a ton of crap. Also, I'll admit to not watching most of the "good stuff". Didn't have the energy or will to do so. I'm sorta trying now, but even then, I prefer to read manga instead.
Well, yeah, Sturgeon's Law and all that. I seriously doubt that in the whole breadth of cultural works released in 2021 there wasn't a single one to be genuinely enjoyed. And if all else fails, there's always discovering new old things.
I liked a lot of stuff,
But I have to ask, how much of you read into the worldbuilding/characters as representative of nasu's thoughts or opinions
I take something as representative of Nasu's thoughts when he repeats it through multiple stories. Like, every Nasu story has, in some capacity, made the claim that enjoying the present surrounded by your loved ones makes you happier than chasing some larger-than-life dream, so it's hard to imagine him not genuinely believing that.
What else then comun, i dont want to say anything because ill get insulted
someone else do it instead.
I'd say death is another super prevalent thing. The people Nasu pushes as right are always the people who are aware that the end is inevitable and that they have things they want or need to do before it's over, so they strive to live ticking all the boxes in their checklist while they can. Meanwhile, the immortality seekers can only achieve immortality by the dedicating 100% of themselves to it and by the point they finally do, they have already forgotten was in their checklist that they needed all this time and are reduced to evil empty husks.
But guess that's just an extension of the "care about the present instead of caring about the future" thing I just mentioned.
The environmentalist messages that comes from the Gaia vs Alaya dichotomy is another thing coming to mind right now, thanks to Koyanskaya's recent reminder.
Redemption>punishment is also a decently recurring message, dominating the central conflicts of both versions of Ciel's route, Heaven's Feel, and Avalon le Fae.
Is it a acutal enviromentalist since it seems he's also 'EAT THE ENVIROMENT GO TO SPACE' but im not sure how much of that is just in setting....
And how much of this would you say is more justification for views like 'immortality = bad', because i often feel a lot of authors just wanna do that but they have to invent reasons to hate immortality
And i would like more if thast okay, im sorry if im bothering you but i just need someone else to put things into words atm
Why is lumina bad, i thoughnt melty blood was typically good
Implying anyone at Type-Moon knows a lick of english.
