Zero: It's okay. Saber is weird, Uro is trying too hard with Kiritsugu. Etc etc, the usual stuff you've probably heard before. Nothing in it is interesting enough to go above LE.
UBW: Also okay. It's just a good looking adaptation that doesn't try to do anything special with the source. Last Stardust moment was great, character desing looks bad.
HF: Actually better than UBW on most fronts, but instead of just being a fine adaptation it actively guts aspects I personally liked about the source, so the directorial quality that's there is mostly wasted to me.
Honestly, even if talking just about aesthetic, I'm not a fan of UFO's CG filters or effect animations they put in every scene. LE's style looks much better even if the animation itself isn't as consistent.
New intriguing stuff is just better than old stuff with pretty effects over it. Emiya gohan gets a pass for being a simple adaptation because it's wish fulfillment made for me.

That's not nihilism, that's just Buddhism
I'm gonna be honest, I 100% find emiya gohan's soft, chibi-ish pastel stuff 1000000x prettier than anything ufotable puts out except their budget breaking super projectile effects scenes, like Saber cutting hercules with morgan in HF.
Call me 想φαγω.
Spoiler:
Different artstyles for different things, i imagine that emiya gohans style works well for the tone and also different artstyles i imagine have different workloads. I cant say for certain but I wouldnt be surprsied if the UBW artstyle works better for like action sequences or whatever
I don't care, I want to see lancer getting brutally impaled by his own lance in cute pastel

Spoiler:
fire girl looks really cool
Your not a TYPE MOON fan if you don't even own a TM Merch or haven't fapped to a TM character.
I talked at length about 霊長 (Primey-dudes) with Arai recently.
There were so many quotes I combed but to make a long story short, maybe True Ancestors are 霊長 (prime-people) in Tsukihime worlds?
First there is the repeated mention of her mentioning that the Burial Agency want to 'kill non-human 霊長 (primy-pram)' which apparently seems to include why they want to kill her. That alone could be overlooked, but additionally... Kotomine in FGO mentions that the difference between ORT in Fate/Tsukihime worlds is about how it acts. The way he there qualifies each world is interesting: "Worlds in which Alaya has stabilized" (Fate) and "Worlds in which Gaia manifests" (Tsukihime). A lot of the time when Nasu talks about the Tsukihime/Fate split he's going on about Dead Apostles, but the one time there's an in-game explanation the impetus is put on Gaia instead as being the Tsukihime-world factor of importance.
So the working theory: In Tsukihime worlds, humanity is not uncontested 霊長類 (primey species), having to contend with the planet's own True Ancestors?
Another thing to keep in mind is that Roa specifically mentions that because Dead Apostles can't really propagate their genes, that renders them unable to be counted as 霊長 (primey-folk), so unless that's somehow "Roa's own opinion", Dead Apostles are not the ones in direct conflict with humanity... Which seems a bit counter-intuitive.
