I'm beginning to think that may have been a mistranslation or possible misunderstanding on our part. I recall the phrase was something like Medusa and her sisters being born from hopes or dreams of mankind for perfect goddesses or something.

It's still quite vague whether they existed or not. You can tell it from Holmes interlude.

That interlude feels like a dropped plot point

You want to talk about dropped plot points in interludes, Tristan's interlude ended with Artoria wondering if Morgan was behind it and then that never went anywhere.

The incineration? It's probably a foreshadowing on what Morgan's capable of. And I think she is capable of it

No, behind the events of Tristan's interlude where he goes crazy with an evil Gift and the other knights have to calm him down. It ends with Artoria saying

Altria: (...The evil Gift has disappeared. But...the fairy princess, my older sister...does this mean she has manifested somewhere...?)
But after Lostbelt Morgan's introduction this has definitely been dropped.

Be a interesting list to look at interudes and see how many have dropped plot points or the foreshadowing doesnt really lean towards the actual "plot point"

I thought this a foreshadowing on Morgan's account of her manifesting in lost belt.

currently going through og melty blood arcade and this has to be my favourite, especially the 3:52 scene. even if it's artificial scenario thanks to len, the hypothetical it presents of aoko and shiki finally reuniting, with shiki having become the exact thing she didn't want him to become is pretty sad.

maybe wrong thread but i don't really want to bump some super old melty blood thread

MB is underrated Kino. I can't wait for RG. Kanemoto Nanaya moments gonna be goated. Hopefully they work more of it in. Hmm, actually I wonder if the new MB update will give us a tease given what was previously stated about it.

A lot of urban fantasies tend to have like a 'layered world' type deal. like a spirit world version of everything like world of darkness. I realize nasu doesnt really

I'm not really counting the reverse side as its too different. Just a observation

Right the shadowlands. My rpg group recently went through there to save an NPC from becoming a specter (we won through the power of selling out necromancer vampire bullshit to the underworld government). Though I am curious what other urban fantasy settings do that cause I'm struggling to think of many other than WOD. I guess there is coldharbor in elder scrolls but that's just straight fantasy and not urban fantasy.

If it's "a world that overlaps ours where supernatural stuff happens" then Shakugan No Shana's Crimson Realm and Persona 3's Dark Hour might count.
