Was talking with my friend and learned that the old Proto Frags TL translated Command Spell (令呪) as Master Degree a lot which is probably related to the TM Wiki saying that Master Degrees are the name for Command Spells in Prototype which isn’t technically true.

Master Degree is the level indicated by the number of wings that make up the Command Spell. Ayaka being Princes, the Seventh Rank.

They’re just Command Spells (令呪), same term as normal. It’s just that in Prototype Command Spells are all pulled from the same 7 designs based on Angels, and which one you get is based on your ranking compared to the other Masters. This ranking is your Master Degree (マスター階梯). Your Command Spells show your Master Degree rather than Command Spells being called Master Degrees. Small mix up.
