Alter versions of kind of a mixed bag so far though. Jeanne/Saber are cute but Lancer Alter/Cu are just bad.

A negative vote to Chaos Theory.

It started well, that much is undeniable. But the longer the story goes on (and the longer Moczo takes to update between chapters), the more the flaws become apparent. Caster Alter is a large one; her EVIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL histrionics and antics quickly overstay their welcome, as well as her awkward yuri, and due to her status as Moczo's favorite character has survived many situations she shouldn't have. Another is Saber's partial blackening, a hackneyed plot development at best that is a pale representation of HF events and completely ejected me from the story as he unceremoniously disposed of Berserker. A third issue is Shirou's lack of agency. While HF had thematic reasons for delaying his development of fighting ability, those reasons have not been expressed in Chaos Theory, leaving him a glorified battery whose primary purpose is being the punchline to Rin and Saber's increasingly unfunny disdain.

Chaos Theory started well. However, its myriad flaws me ejected from the story entirely, and I cannot recommend the disappointing experience of seeing a good fic go bad.

I imagine her as insane rather than 'EVIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL'. Iirc some interpret the part where she killed her kids as being done under divine mind control and her being very much upset when she comes to and realizes what she'd done.

I thought the earlier chapters were pretty engaging. It's just that later on the various twists and turns of the plot became too much to bear; earlier on the seeds were there, but only as potential, so you could still ignore it.

I like this artwork.
More than her original art I mean. She looks more mature. Still not mature enough to be a mother, but still.
And yes, Nero wants to bang. While also providing a characteristically aggressive running commentary.
