Realtalk, by the by, I actually super dig the way that there are these recurring narrative elements in Nasu's works.
It gives it a cohesion, a signature - tangible through line more tangible than in most other author's works. Creators all have their own tells, their own favorite tricks and go-tos, yes, but Nasu's utilization of his own things gives them such a satisfying commonality:
