She's dumb but being a Servant Universe character means she isnt the "real" Calamity Jane.
We're unlikely to ever see the real Calamity Jane but, still.
She's dumb as a rock because after some millenia she got tired of thinking. I would say "an excuse as terrible as the rest of her character", but thinking about it, I don't think there is anything else to her character.
I really dont like this recent trend of getting alternate universe servants instead of a more normal representation of the servant, be it servant universe meme trash or more serious lost belt ones.
at least vagabond man still has a tiny chance of making it, but im not really holding my breath.
This is misguided. It is very easy - we might say that TM have deliberately made it easy - to get caught up in the question concerning whether a given servant is a more or less correct representation of its source material. but this is really a meaningless rabbit-hole which only feeds back into the notion of 'representation' Fate is suffused with. what must be questioned is precisely this general concept and structure of 'representation' within which - regardless of whether it's an "alternate universe" or "normal" servant - people make these judgements of accuracy/inaccuracy. how does Fate 'represent' in the first place? this is the question. and if you can't figure out how to answer this question intelligently, you'll either get caught up in pointless nit-picking debates - or worse, you'll start making servant sheets for Caster Anne Frank with no visible irony

Expresses the exceeding size of one's library.
Books are extremely many, loaded on an oxcart the ox will sweat.
At home piled to the ridgepole of the house, from this meaning.

For lostbelt Servants, I kinda assume their panhuman selves are more or less the same person, just minus the weird lostbelt stuff.
Like 'our' QSH is basically the same minus the whole immortal computer deal.

Junao and Arjuna are pretty similar, after all
I'm still sad at the missing chance of Lancer Bedivere, despite how the Airgetlam is pretty cool in my eyes.
So it turns out there were 20 volumes of the original Fate/Stay Night Manga. I only got to read 8 of them though, but Viz Media lists 10 of them. I wish I could finish it, it's how I got into Fate after all.
Spoiler:
I think Nasu's writing is better off when he isn't writing around an existing person, but is allowed to go all out into weirdness. Elizabeth Bathory and her clone army have never had more than cursory attachment to the historic personality, and they're much better off for it. On the contrary, Florence Nightingale is a frankenstein of a character because the real person's achievements and life just don't mesh with what the story wants out of the character at all.
shit BL says
Once and always and nevermore.
