It’s weird to meet people who think VN rin’s brown. It’s a very typical anime shading from that sort of era for black hair I find.
I just don't see it
Especially compared to Kuzuki who I'd absolutely say has black hair.
truly the 'wine-dark sea' of our time

Books are extremely many, loaded on an oxcart the ox will sweat.

Rin's hair was always supposed to be black, but this is brown, no doubt about it.

Then again I've gone on a multi-page shouting match about how Saber's eyes are supposed to be blue-green (turquoise or aquamarine) as opposed to pure green like some people draw her (which is Nero's color- olive green, to be precise) so the possibility exists that I'm some exotic variety of colorblind.
shit BL says
Once and always and nevermore.
Charcolate.
O walls, you have held up so much tedious graffiti that I am amazed you have not already collapsed in ruin.
I legitimately don't see how it can be seen as anything but black meanwhile.
If you turn the saturation way up, you can see that her hair has a bit more intrinsic color than the ribbons.

I have a hat that's the same really dark, greyish brown. The material was sold to me as "chocolate," but I consider it black for practical purposes. It's brown, but only technically - when I look at it, I don't think "brown."

This reminds me of Suzumiya Haruhi, who is stated to have black hair in the novels but every illustration of her has her with brown hair instead.
More likely you do some sort of a job that requires you to actually work with colors and pay attention to tinges. As a typical example, it turns out that tree bark that they taught you to use a brown crayon for in kindergarten is pretty commonly blue instead. If you're an amateur painter you're gonna mix brown and white and black for hours and you'll never get the right color.
Spoiler:
While we're at it, can anyone confirm that Sakura's hair is described as black? I just checked the LP but the translation there says nothing about color, and keyword searches are being a blunt instrument.

I kinda wish the reason Gil is often wearing a gauntlet on his right hand was actually plot relevant. In the myth his hand gets badly cut by the thorns of the immortality plant, so those scars could be possibly the only way to identify him, so he'd keep it covered. Caster Gil has a gauntlet on his right hand, topless Archer Gil (sometimes) has a gauntlet on his right hand. You'd just need to add gloves to his casual clothes appearances and it'd be a nice detail and neat reference to the myth.
Didnt notice he had the glove on in FHA while using Ea, always thought it started in FGO when they were in to much of a hurry to make Gil playable that they cut corners and let his Ea hand wear the glove in the final ascension so as to not mess with Ea's 3D model. At which point it became a meme added to CasGil and unremovable from Gil upon his sprite renewel.
you are expecting consistent wearables from a series that said fk it and made servants able to costumize themselves at will to shut the ''well actually guys''. nothing new, remember zero timeline shenanigans? yeah
P.S i still think amakusa should be summoned as his original look instead of ''he prefers apoc look now''
Spoiler:
To be fair, he died at like 20 in his own time and lived 70 years in Apo time. He probably does like the priest look cuz he's more used to it.
Real-life Zouken!?
