Being a monster or being a killer doesn’t do much to make you unsympathetic or a non-waifu these days.

It's a pretty good result I know (nearly perfect). It just irks me to see those spaces between lines (the spacing between characters is no problem). I wanted to spare me from working more on it, though it seems I have no choice.

Well there is the added bit that the main characters are the ones with the really special stuff, the outliers above their own peers.
And even then, most of the stories show that they too come close to being swallowed by their own distortions. That word there, distortions, that contradiction in the self is something the protags have too.
So rather than say "the protags are the only ones who are 'good'" its rather they are the only ones who eventually reach the self-reflection enough to escape their own self-induced prisons. And then in further iterations, sometimes those villains can as well as we see in some interludes in FGO.
The magicians in Index are literally made to be Nanoha'd by Touma in many cases. I almost want to use Monogatari as another example about self-actualization, but we'll be postulating forever here if I do.

Nah, that's generalizing a lot. There are many that Touma never even hears about, and they all carry their own personal brand of

Monogatari is just way too much to unpack in a simple comparison, though there are similar themes (Then again, Monogatari has pretty much ALL the themes).

an attempt was made, only Vt.in day dream though because it's short

the ocr output was very decent, I'd dare to say at least 85% of the text was faithfully extracted. This however needs a lot of editing afterwards which I find cumbersome and so won't deal with it. Nice experiment though. I think the Sora no Soto raws are at a higher resolution, I'll try that at some other time.

Well, there is a difference between no sense and an "alien" sense, as in the Vampire the Masquerade's Paths of Enlightenment (now, apparently with custom versions called Chronicle Tenets because why not), like how there is a difference between shameless and having alien standards of what constitutes pride and shame, like pre-Manchurian-ass-whooped Han refusal to get haircuts.

Magic Resistence as a skill feels like a mistake at this point, while yes resisting magic is a thing in many stories, games and such, It feels like they went too strong on it from the start
