Y'all got any of them celestial motes?
To elaborate a little, this word that I translate as 'celestial mote(s)' (星の素子), seems to have appeared once before in Japanese fiction, namely an old fantasy manga from 1993 known as Seisenki Erna-saga.
This twitter poster speculates that it is an intentional reference on Nasu and Takeuchi's parts, but who knows. It is a funny thought though.
As an added bonus, this term has only appeared in TM 3 total times, once in TsukiR, once in F/GO, and once in MBAACC:

Are these… celestial motes?
Forsooth, these will do.
Such peculiar processing that is applied to them.

So anyway, what's up with term?
Seems to me like it signifies the components that make up the planet, not unlike True Ether/Gin/Grain.
Like we needed another word to describe that!
From the first quote we learn Dust of Osiris' plot involves eating them to end the world.
From the second quote we learn that, uh, the experience cards from FGO is made out of them... (?)
From the third quote we don't learn much at all, other than Roa making a flowery comparison.
