A real smash hit until you consider the fact that hardcore fans tend to buy some merch in sets of 4 in JP. One for actual use, one for display, one for emergency cases (like broken set), one for...yeah, I forgot the other one.
Besides, the merch is JP only so...overseas fans who wanted that piece of pie must go through hook and nail to even get one set. Heck, setting up JP acct in Google Play and PSN needs meticulous instructions if one wants the full JP experience.

Regardless of how many copies of merch you claim hardcore anime fans buy, Kara no Kyoukai has comparable sales with many popular anime. It's irrelevant unless you're trying to argue this is a kara no kyoukai fan exclusive thing.
That is one thing that ticks me off, they've got so much dosh, but even post FGO, their production rate seems mostly the same. That we're getting an Extra remake and the fact they made a separate studio SHOULD be a good sign, but I think TM is just always gonna be TM. I doubt it is gonna become Disney. Their production rate and desire for global reach is still far, far diminished from that monolith.
Well, unlike Disney, TM's original founders are still alive.
I just realized that servant stat retcon is a possibility, Kintoki's Natural Body was changed from C to A. Well, could this be considered a retcon? Technically Apocrypha (The MMO) was never released, and Kintoki never made it to the novel series.

Maybe kintoki just did a lot of strengthening quests before FGO.
Servant stats are allowed to vary based on their master so most situations turn into apples and oranges.
Most Apo servants were changed from their draft in the canceled project so. Not really.
you could always say that Kintoki summoned in Europe or America would have a ranked down Nat Body however?

It took me this long to realize it, but Eva Sirkowski is Mordred pretending to be a modern-day Russian and having switched to an AK47 instead of a sword.

Yeah I can pretty much see Mordred being Russian, from behavioral aspect at least.
