If the first Australian servant to be added to fgo is the white loli requiem's hinting is the rainbow snake, I'll lose it. It's an insult.

I don't trust fgo to handle anything indigenous, which is a goddamn shame because Pemulwuy is such a perfect, og representation of a heroic spirit it makes the jaw drop. his entire story reads like that of a mythological figure. he's too based, even type moon (theoretically) couldn't fuck him up...

...but I'm a f2p, not a gambler. so I'd rather they play it safe and only touch stories like that of Ned Kelly's, the other bushrangers, Billy Sing, Simpson and his donkey, etc. Simpson and his donkey would be particularly good because he's the first story all Australian children are told in school to ease them in to learning about the slaughter of Gallipoli. Even though the man himself only served for four weeks before dying a martyr, his legend is disproportionately large thanks to the Australian values the nation's small children are taught he represents. (bravery in the face of doom, sacrifice, trying to help others, dying for your mates. in case you're curious)

also, if they add Ned Kelly, I'll cry with joy if they design him along the lines of Sidney Nolan's famous series of paintings. although can they do that? or would copyright interfere with fgo drawing my boy with a square head because Nolan did it first and famously? lawyers chime in now.

Rainbow snake, one of the flat out oldest known gods in human religions and mythology. Older than pretty much a good 99% of known gods. Is a loli that seems to be all anubis sama.

Well I hope whoever came up with that idea fucking leaves writing forever.

And lets be real they will turn ned kelly into a iron man reference or some fucking mecha chuuni coomer garbage

I have a headcanon that Sefar was the one who destroyed Brunestud's moon kingdom. The timelines match up too well.

Earth apparently only had 4 contacts in history. ORT with the Aztecs in the Cretaceous (tentative), Olympus refugees, Sefar invasion in 12000BC, and the Moon who only got there because they’re neighbors. The odds of Earth and the moon being raided by different invaders don’t look too likely with how seemingly small this makes the number of space travelers look like.

I don't think it was ever stated to have been destroyed by an enemy force right? I thought it was just something ambiguous.

I actually wonder how Nasu would've treated Ned Kelly prior to FGO being a thing. Design wise I mean.

    Probably a wraith.

We don't know enough about the other pantheons to say there are no other contacts tbh. Egyptian pantheon is big question mark. The Mesopotamian and Hindu gods, where both of these pantheons have spaceships (Vimana, Maana) or can serve as an interstellar vessel (Tiamat), can have alien influences or some of their members have space origins too. We also have no info about the Outer Gods' first contact with our universe prior to them being all sealed off.

Reminder that a lot of servants in FGO are not heroic spirits at all. Hell, half the servants in F/SN aren't either. Why would headless horseman be on the throne of heroes? Kojiro, Medusa, Medea and many more aren't.

  20. #35540
Medusa and Medea are (almost) anti heroes, which is a subcategory of heroic spirits.
