Yeah, I just went with "fragment of the heavens" because it sounded cool, and moved on. There are more important things to translate in that scene, like "why is Soujuurou sweating in the winter?" (It's because he's been running a lot.)
As long as you make it sound like you are very high, you are channeling Nasu's spirit.

Don't remember the details of the bunny suit itself, but the story of why there's a CG of that showing up is kind of convoluted.
Basically there is some side story that happens sometime after the events of the main story in the game. Alice sends birthday invitations to Aoko and Soujuurou's school friends, Beo, the Church duo, and the older sister (who's working for the Association and is kind of doing spying work for both sides) of the blind Church girl.
It turns out to be actually be a birthday party for the guy who founded the amusement party, everybody was sort of under the assumption that it was Alice’s party, including Alice’s uninvited rival/singer who sort of intruded.
Also, Soujuurou sends an invitation to Touko because Soujuurou is Soujuurou.
Story is that somebody activates one of Alice’s familiars which creates a game-like situation where the familiar has replaced one of the people in the mansion and will kill them one by one. To win you have to find out which of the guests is the familiar. If you don’t win, everyone’s dead for sure.
And in this game, if you laugh, you die in a way that's sort of representative of your personality.
And that’s what that picture was for.

Story goes like this.
Guests are invited, and all of them assemble except the old man Tokitsu Yurihiko, who the birthday party is really supposed to be for, and Soujuurou.
Then Soujuurou finally arrives and with a dumb smile on his face, says, oh btw, he's dead, what should I do?
Discussion about what the cause of death (and you're given the option of saying it was caused by bread, a small bomb, or an animal attack; correct answer is bread) was is happening, then suddenly Alice hears something from the bird. So, she calls Soujuurou over and tells him to say "Je t'aime, mon amour" to Riddel, which makes her burst out laughing since she thinks he's being played with by Alice, but then.......heart attack!
So Alice figures out what happened from this and announces that somebody triggered one of her Plois, says that if you laugh, you die.
Which causes the idiot of the group to burst out laughing, and he explodes into 100,000,000,000,000 yen bills.
Riddel recovers after being insulted by the bird about what her plain death means about her character, but anyway. She pretty much exists to be trolled by Alice.
And I could go on, but it's not really interesting to describe it. But that's the basic atmosphere.
so... it makes up for the lack of death in the main plot by having characters die hilariously left and right?
