No sequel related story. It seems like that murder mystery. But NPs are massive spoiler for mahoyo 2 and 3
Soujuurou's NP does seem to be teasing one of the sequels. Material book says Aoko's day of decisive battle is "snowy ruins". Soujuurou's NP is in snowy ruins, with cracks all over his body, green flames following behind him, and him dying after his attack:
The PV for the collab is VERY interesting. The First Magic is symbolized by a colourful explosion (The Big Bang? Would fit with "denial of nothingness", and also why it's called the *First* Magic), and the Fourth by a black hole.
If we assume Aoko's decisive battle is in the snowy ruins because it's where she has to face Alice and come to terms with letting Soujuurou go at the end of mahoyo 3, the effects on his animation indeed feel very much like some sort of red/blueshifting effect to indicate his death returning to its proper place in the timeline.
Bonus points for Aoko undoing his death giving Soujuurou a 5 minute timer to beat his enemy before dying.

Sounds too spoilery to a game that isn't released or even planned to be released in any foreseeable future. Well, unless Nasu already gave up and doesn't plan to release Mahoyo 3 at all. I think those cracks are related to something from FGO event, not Mahoyo itself.
And 座標不明 悪霊殺し is indeed sounds too obvious, there is no meaning in hiding it in this case.
I am looking for the music file of Main Theme that was once on loop on the VN's homepage (http://www.typemoon.com/products/mahoyo/index.html) for most of the years it was in development.
Having been reacquainted with the proper version of Main Theme, I'm convinced this particular version was a demo and not just a snippet. The second segment of the intro cut into the theme's full swell from a little later on, for starters.
I'm pretty sure it was embedded in Flash, but Ruffle isn't quite getting along with the archived snapshots. There's got to be a few diehards who extracted the file and threw it up on some media site, and since then it would've been mostly forgot and buried since by actual Mahoyo content.
If anyone knows what I'm talking about, and can point me in the right direction, it would be well appreciated. I once listened to it loop exhaustively and miss that particular version and its cues.
Two clarifications.
1. Reading the event makes it clear his NP is in fact a recreation of something that happened in 1991 (this is confirmed in the very last scene of the event), which seems like a good candidate for when Mahoyo 3 takes place.
2. Soujuurou outright says 悪霊殺し when using the NP, and the aforementioned scene above also mentions coordinates, so it really can't be anything else.
Yes, I've seen it in summaries, looks like I was wrong.
So now we have this foreshadowing with NP looking like Soujuurou is dying after using it, and also another one with Alice and Soujuurou's hand, where it looks like Soujuurou survived whatever happened in Mahoyo 2/3, but lost hand in process. Probably in Mahoyo 3, since I don't remember anything special about his hand in Sweet Hearts story (which is after Mahoyo 2)
That actually is better than I expected, we now have some contradictory hints, and I'm looking forward to see what will happen with them in Mahoyo 2/3.Too bad it will probably never be released.
Alice's profile in FGO says that she only can be killed by "acts of harm motivated by love". It looks like it's "Of the Meinster lineage", so Alice's mother also should had it.Alice cannot die except under a very specific condition. She is unkillable by acts of harm that use animosity, fear, chance, or nature as their driving force (she will resurrect no matter how badly she is injured), however, the one thing this unkillability does not trigger from are acts of harm motivated by love.
So, how did she died in that case? Did she started to turn into Yumina and was mercy killed by Alice's father (or even Alice herself)? Or maybe she killed herself to defend Alice/Alice's father from Yumina? Or maybe there is some condition to lose that ability?
Koyama posted character visuals from Mahoyo collab along with ppl who helped him.
though the name is hidden by request but I think one of them is Tsukuri Monoji.
Does Soujuurou know that touko killed him ?
