It seems like the console port of Mahoyo is a test run for future multilingual releases of TM works on PC, especially since Mahoyo is coming out in English and Chinese the two languages specified in Nasu's answer.
Considering Mahoyo is already finished, they didn't have to adjust the production schedule which seemed to be a big issue for TM.
Something to note. Nasu agrees translation is a large hurdle, maybe they were able to secure some help on that end?

Vaguely related to some comments here, the Steins; Gate English release was like a decade after the original. And at least one of the guys who had worked on the fan TL worked on the official release. So things can happen.

Hollow Moon started as a project to translate Mahoyo's French translation, which immediately pissed everyone who cared about quality. A lot of the haters never lived this part down even after the civil war and usurpation.

Anyways, Rain saw the red flags and quickly took action, and together with our Fumei, seized Hollow Moon in their tyrannical hands of good quality standards, under the belief that Mahoyo should be fine dining, refined to utmost perfection. This naturally caused an immense delay and pissed off the fast food eaters, which were Hollow Moons only supporters up until that point.

Basically, it picked a fight with both side, although in completely different moments of administration. Plus frequent aggravation generated by Andrew being an absolute clown and Digit regularly picking unnecessary fights on Twitter. Other members used to be pretty thin-skinned too, but the Fumei administration whipped them into learning to ignore the shit thrown at them, so I think those are the only two problem members at this point.
