    by the way, speaking of "more action" and "new eva" for Rei... character designs recently came up (or maybe they came up a while ago and i only just found them now), and beside the spacesuits and slight designchanges of the plugsuits, THIS is of special interest:

    Rei apparently has a new suit (which might mean a new Eva, what with the new color and new number and all (of course, with the new number, it could be a new clone, but then again it could alos be the "real" rei- after all, they only have one soul for her, so only one clone at a time can be active anyways, right? i find this development interesting anyways. very curiosu what will become of this.)

    I wonder if some scanlation group will get crackin' with Shinji Ikari Raising Project and be more consistent with more volumes.

    What I want to know is what that SFX movie they put in front of Q was all about. Just an excuse for Studio Ghibli to take a break from slice-of-life cartoons and blow up a miniature Tokyo? Feel free to answer without spoiler tags if you've got anything.

    If you are talking about what I think you are talking about, wasn't that some tribute to Anno's special effects work or something? I honestly don't get why they decided to do that either.
