Name: DR. Aleister Chiron
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Nationality: British
Appearance:
Personality:
Aleister Chrion is a complex individual to say the least. Whilst he may be a Doctor, and therefore a stronger believer in the Hippocrates Oath and the power of Science, at the same time he is quite happy to remove your kneecaps if you annoy him or bend his scientific ways in order to achieve ‘more interesting’ results per-say. Not exactly a believer in the paranormal, but not exactly a sceptic either, prefers to take a spoonful of sugar rather than salt and his sometimes outlandish theories are generally dead on the mark due to his somewhat roundabout way of thinking.
A Psy.D. from Harvard and a BMMS from Oxford, as well as a holder of numerous Honorary Degrees in such fields as Psychosurgery, Philosophy, Theology, Divinity and English, Aleister is far from an idiot, quite the opposite, with an IQ that makes the average Mensa candidate look like an individuals with ‘borderline intellectual functioning’ he has a habit of inserting his ‘professional opinion’ into everything and the annoying tendency to babble in sciencespeak without bothering to translate for the average layman, which is another of his many bad habits.
Background:
A former graduate from both Harvard and Oxford and a pioneering expert in the field of Psychodynamic Catharsis, you would imagine that an individual like Aliester would be snapped up by one of those huge, advanced hospitals with all the latest equipment like those in Chine or South Africa, or maybe end up going private and running his own clinic. So how he ended up getting head-hunted by the FBI is a mystery only he really knows the answer too. Either way, be it Doctor, Coroner, Medical Examiner or occasional Forensic Scientist, he excelled in every field he put his hands on.
His assignment to the Extra-Normal Investigations Division was almost a no-brainer, after all if budgetary restraints are getting a bit cumbersome, why not hire a jack-of-all-trades rather than several individuals specialists. His keen intellect and ability to easily adapt his mind around complex theories make him both a great scientist and an excellent paranormal specialist. Although he is normally not what you might call a ‘Field’ operative, he has certainly done all the training, and some more of his own, so he is quite happily to jump into the action if he needs to, although he would rather hang back and watch.
