Hmm you're right, maybe I should get in his face about this, what could go wrong! (In before he dismantles something else from BL.)

If posts are off-topic, trolling, terrible or offensive, please allow me to do my job. Reporting keeps your forum healthy.
Seika moderates: modly clarifications, explanations, Q&A, and the British conspiracy to de-codify BL's constitution.
Democracy on Beast's Lair
The issue was that DP wanted to use a single sign on/SSO to integrate the forum accounts to the Wiki accounts like is done with the blogs to prevent people from editing the wiki.
As it stands you'd need to make a wiki account as well as a BL account.

Actually, before food left, there had been another problem with it (one of the reasons food was angry was that the wiki was not happening after months), I forget what. Or it could have just been the SSO problem, I don't remember this part well as I didn't pay attention outside of how the wiki should be used.
The Hall of Selected Cruor Praise
I mean there is the mod incompatibility thing, but that is just an extension of "I want to keep banned people out, so I'll just sit on it until I can do that."
I'm still a new guy. But there's so much information in the forum that I'd like it to be compiled in wiki format.
Okay, this is one helluva necropost, but this is your first time saying anything, so I'll let that slide, but you must realize that this would be a tremendous undertaking, right? Megathreads have been a thing for a really long time here, so the information's very disorganized, and moreover, you'd need multiple volunteers just to pore through a single thread if we were even to try. I'm not saying that this isn't a worthy cause, just that if you want that to happen, it'd be your responsibility to recruit volunteers.

It seems to me that with the skillful use of the search function you can find the necessary information on the site - of course, it is worth spending more time. But organizing a wiki format is a very resource-intensive process.

I have not read all posts in this thread. But if you do not have wiki it will be a good idea to develop it.
