Son, I am disappoint.
Sure, there were some hilarious scenes with Assassin. But there still were too little for me.
And yes, the lack of Kotomine is unforgivable.
I got the vibe from Shirou's relationship with Saber in HA that it was a love comedy of sorts. It would've been better if there was more love and less comedy and not the other way around. Though it wasn't half-bad. Sakura's scenes were more like a movie by Disney.
eh, I still adore the scene where saber went all tsun after finding out shirou had learned a thing or two from rider

That wasn't tsun. That was plain anger. Double the fact that Saber and Rider don't like eachother. She didn't like the idea of Shirou taking lessons behind her back, especially from Rider.
you dont think saber getting all offended that shirou had taken lessons from someone else, pretending not to care, then beating him within an inch of his life wasnt tsun then?
Anger and jealousy were the emotions. Tsun was the attitude. You don't have to be a tsundere to act that way every once in a while, Keyne, nobody's trying to turn your waifu into Rin.

If Saber could be described in her entirety by a simplistic character archetype, I wouldn't find her the tiniest bit interesting. Same goes for all the other characters. Luckily they're slightly more complex than that.Originally Posted by Keyne

The archetype is just the basis. I know characters are complex.

I'd love to see such a scene. Imagine it, Saber losing her cool and spanking Illya for behaving badly, or spanking Rin and suddenly Rin goes "Ahn~~ Motto~~ motto~~!! Ha~~n!".

Well it felt that way for a good deal of the female characters. I myself could go for less "jealous girl" jokes with Sakura, but that is me. I still enjoyed it.
I wouldn't exactly say her scenes were Disney-ish, except for one. Ilya is such a bro, sis, whatever. She gets some of my approval for that.
Shirou really should have made it up to Illya by giving her a date too, though. That, or use his own goddamn house. >:I
