Five months vegan and feeling fine. I went to the doctor recently to get some blood work done after I got tired of hearing all about how vegans are so deficient in protein, testosterone, calcium, iron, etc. Getting those results back and seeing that I am well within healthy levels was fantastic.
I just finished up my first week of the 100 Pushups training program, which promises to take you from however many pushups you can do right now to 100 in just two months. I'm skeptical, but something had to change. I got to a point where I couldn't add any weight to my bench press because I started getting sharp pains in my elbows and wrists. My family has a history of weak joints, so I didn't want to risk anything. Maybe this will be the thing that finally gets me a big, strong set of pecs.

Does anyone use a diet tracking app? I loaded up my old Myfitnesspal app recently, and it seems like they made basically every useful function subscription only, I don't feel like paying for this.

I just started using MyFitnessPal again too and while all the subscription features seem like they’d be cool to have nothing looks too vital
I’ve heard good things about Cron-o-meter though from people who like to nerd out over charts and data, but I personally can’t use it because it doesn’t let me quick add the calories from my kyushoku and making a custom meal for that every time is a pain
btw I hate myself for choosing the week McDonald’s released this year’s America Burgers to start the whole counting calories thing

I actually reinstalled Pokemon GO couple months ago to use as a fitness app. Well, pedometer, anyway.
It's actually pretty good for motivating yourself when all the exercise you can get is walking around but you have nowhere to actually go. Just gonna get to that new Pokestop, just gonna walk the last 3km to hatch this 12km egg, just gonna hit the weekly 25km milestone before reset. It won't give you a six-pack but it keeps the flab down at least

You know a trick I use a bit like that is I’ll pick a restaurant I am craving about 4-5 miles away, walk their, have a good meal completely guilt free and then walk home. It’s not quite true that the walking burns off all the calories, but it burns enough that a cheat day becomes a normal day

Chief Petty Officer? That's the only rank I can think of that goes from First Class to Chief, but that's Navy.
