What happened to this function?? It used to be "Go to newest unread post" but now it's just skipping me all the way through the thread to the absolute newest post, forcing me to do waaay too much backtracking.

I just click the 'Go to first new post' button beside the title. Always works for me. *shrugs* Unless you've marked them all read it should go to the first unread post.
The button pointing down is first new post, the one going sideways most recent post.

It prolly means you might of clicked the last page sometime. But yeah, I remember that it used to bring you to the latest unread post even if you did that which made shit really inconvenient when like 50 pages appeared in a thread over night.
