Star Ocean TDF didn't seem like a flop, Valkyrie Elysium has some fun combat, but their budget was definitely compromised with that. I had fun with the demo for it though.
Remake and Crisis Core's remake is going to be making money, as well as a lot of their 2-D/3-D is doing well, Dragon Quest will sell definitely. The only flop was out of stuff they already dropped, but Guardians of the Galaxy actually did well and was received well.
I would say they had more moderate to high successes than flops, which is why the narrative that they are drowning when they've actually made more money than ever before, even considering the money sinks, sounds like corporate speak for "our shareholders want thrice more profit, so we're in 'trouble' from the suits getting miffed".
Seems like I'm stuck waiting until my Tank is maxed out then do unsynced solo runs.
But it bugs me that its Allisae content and I haven't seen her since halfway through ARR. And now I've got all the SB jobs unlocked, some of them are talking about the time they spent training her and it's the first time I've seen her name in five months.

The twins do show up in Coils, but it's mostly Alphinaud and honestly not a whole lot of him either (from what I recall). Alisaie's questline is pretty much just Red Mage.

Nah, Coils is all Alisaie, Alphi just shows up at the end to help out a bit. She doesn't get massive development there anyways so you're not missing much there. The plot is mostly centred around Louisoix and the Calamity
New info on XVI is they are 90% done, game is under final testing period before going gold. Clive's wolf companion will have a unique controlling system in battle.
They say there will be a demo near release time next year. Seems to be smooth sailing as they are confident Clive is a great MC, take it with a truckload of salt, but they do sound suitably confident.
So I just finished the Nidhogg fight in 3.3. Wow, this post patch line has been better than the main story was. Sure the church being corrupt meanies was neat, but civil war, centuries of bad blood, and super saiyan dragons is way more compelling. More focused too.
I've got to say the disposal of the eye's was a bit haphazard. Yeeting them off a bridge? Feels like the kind of thing that'll spawn a boss in the next expansion where a toad found on and became some Toad Dragon thing.
Main theme is still fire too.

It was the aether version of a blender down there, so they thought it would be enough to at least get them lost forever.
When the hell do they say that?! That's super cool, why am I only hearing it now?

They mention it at some point prior to the fight, but you're also spot on, so...

Yoshi-P will be at the Game Awards next week:

Time for some hoping. Since there are rumors about pre-orders for XVI going up in December, this should all but confirmed it.
And since there was talk of a demo shortly before the games release...possible early Christmas present as the team says they nearly done with testing.
Edit: And no sooner does this news come out, the release date gets a rumored leak, sheesh.

I'm actually going to be interested to see how well 16 sells, since it's PS5 exclusive and people still are having trouble getting them two years later.

I get it, but I was able to do it working a regular job in the middle of lockdown.
People definitely shouldn't be going crazy with what I did having alerts and notifications up to a couple things like I did, but they've definitely increased production.
But then again, this also depends on where you are, I would be curious to know if in Japan its really that tough, or are people just coasting on it while they'd sell both arms for a Switch 2 no matter how badly the scalping/production issues are.
I know I could have easily gotten one multiple times this past year, but there's still nothing I want to play on it until either FF16 or Stellar Blade comes out. Every time I go into the local electronics store to pick up new headphones/charging cables/HDD, I ask if they have one out of curiosity and they always say yes. Maybe if you live somewhere super rural that has nothing besides a Wal-Mart?
On actual FF topic, I just started up the Stormblood questline in 14 and got my last job up to 60. So now it's time to ignore the plot again to go exploring the new map. I'm also in the big grind for the Anima weapons, doing the HW Raids mostly, which would be much worse if I didn't like 90% of the loot drops from those dungeons. Too bad healer never comes up often, I've got like six monk hats but not one healer.

Whoo boy. I only ever had the patience for one Lux back then (Terpander, the bow), but while unsyncing probably makes the Light farm faster the lack of people slows it down just as much if not more. Good luck.

Apparently you can solo some of the Alexander Savages, but as my higest level is 66, I'm still a long way off from there. There's no way I'm doing this for another class until I finish Endwalker. No matter how cool every Tank's is. Still, at least I can use all these tomestones I'm getting to buy up all the mats I need for the next set.

Wait a minute, is Stormblood just 80's Afghanistan?
Are the Scions just the CIA?

No, Ala Mhigo was just a part of Eorzea before the occupation, so its not us sending in manpower and weapons to help start a coup to later glean resources, its us actually getting the territory we had back.
