Wasn't there something before about how none of the Servants should actually have circuits, but apparently they do, and we speculated that being summoned into the modern era, they were given circuits?

Humans have always had circuits, it's just that they've only recently had to start using them because they've lost the power to use AoG magic.
IIRC, that rationalisation came up because food was confused about Artoria having circuits, when he thought that she was an Age of the Gods human. Since we now know that she's Age of Man, it's perfectly reasonable to say that her circuits are from life, and that there's no need for Servants to have been given them by their container. Occam's Razor.

Don't have or don't need? There is a difference.
Spoiler:
*shrug* Because of 'invented', I'm going with didn't have. But you'd have to poke the Japanese-speakers to get a definitive answer, I think.

<reads Medea getting picked up by Shirou>
YES.
<reads the part where she assumes he wants her as nothing but a tool or a slave>
;_; Medeaaaa
<reads the part where BAD COMMUNICATION SKILLZ happen>
D'OH!
Why'd you have to go and overreact, Sakura? This is going to make them developing trust so much more difficult.
Still, this story. MEDEA ROUTE. There are not enough words in the english language to explain how much I like this. And, despite my butt-clenching at that horrible misunderstanding in the end, it certainly was an interesting and well written start to the story.
Medea is the worst opponent towards modern magus out of any Servant even without a lesser Grail powering her. With Sakura's prana, she could likely solo the entire Clocktower.
BTW Velsper write moar Apostles. :<
My Fanfics. Read 'em. Or not.McJon01: We all know that the real reason Archer would lose to Rider is because the events of his own Holy Grail War left him with a particular weakness toward "older sister" types.
Seika: Unfortunately, it seems I can't find the quote that has the bit about magi inventing circuits. All food's stuff redirects to Saber's Dragon Reactor discussion, and after a while stuff there just breaks down into a huge mess.
