It seems to me Beatrice was talking about both Shirou and Kuro. Since they're both the ones that beat "Gilgamesh", it was Shirou and his shitty card (Kuro). I mean, it's not like it's a hard conclusion, when his natural powers are the same as a card, that he's a dude who would become a Heroic Spirit. Installing the Archer card is probably how he got all that skill and those NPs in the first place. Hence it would also be 'his' card because he's the guy who used it against them before.

Until it's explicitly stated, I'm not making assumptions that Shirou's powers would come from the cards. It's a neat thesis, but like, there's no evidence either way yet. Theoretically it could be plenty of things, i kinda liked the 'they're a boon from the world' idea personally.
It is kinda funny that he would have so may swords tho, the cards are a definite possibility

Occam's razor says it's more likely he got his skill from resonance with the card that is also him and both he and Angilica have prior experience with, than the world suddenly downloading a bunch of NPs and how to use them into his skull. I mean, he even has Eye of the Mind and told Kuro how to use it.
^He saw Kanshou and Bakuya fighting Julian's Heroic Spirits and knew both Crane Wing and Overedge from it?

The reason I thought it might be a boon is because i don't know how else shirou would still have the projection talent..... unless he has avalon in this timeline too
Or maybe the resonance effect can even change elements and origins

His name is Emiya Shirou and this is the Sixth Holy Grail War.
Also it's Prisma Illya.
Re-read chapter, Bea definitely seems to be referring to Shirou and Kuro in the same sentence together, but individually. He's definitely not the card she referred to.

Does this mean Miyuverse!Kerry adopted Miyu at one point too? Or did he bang Miyu's mom......
What if Miyu's mom is alive?

Pai is probably laughing right now since the original JP is probably super clear about this

Maybe she's his actual sister. How did he manage to keep her alive in the fire? Lol who cares Prisma Illya.

Fine. Natural Grail on the level of Illya so she survived fine because super circuits like Ciel, but Shirou needed Avalon.
Also he like, guarded her with his body and she was his singular focus and that's why he's powered by imouto love rather than ideals.

Since it's the sixth war and all i can imagine something happening in the previous wars that led to shirou getting avalon and his sword abilities.
I like the theory that it's because of the cards better though. Shirou using the archer card but because of how high his affinity with the card is some of it's power actually stayed with him.

I mean, he says like "this heroic spirit's..." blah blah on one page, so I took that to mean it's not his own power. And I worded the piece of shit card line so that it could be taken in different ways, so that when the truth is revealed, I can say, "uh huh, see, that's what I meant by that. I'm fucking psychic or something."
