By the way, what the heck did the Assassin card do? Make her invisible enough to get in a good slap on Grail-Gil? It went by kind of fast.

honestly i was surprised that Grail-Gil could suddenly talk coherent sentences, and seemed to be happy about his one-winged angel boss body. im going ot assume that actual Gil's personality was interferign before and what we have now is full-on Angra Mainyu taking a Gil-like form.
hmyeah, apparently Sword-ninelives got blocked by Nasus's belved Bow-nine lives. honestly Illya shouldve just used the Bow-nine lives herself. well maybe its gonna happen in 3rei.
