Trying to convince us that some people can't be saved right after Illya saved Beatrice while being told the exact same thing rings really hollow, it's bad writing. He should've just played up Illya's capacity to save people without these meaningless threats.

What issue? They seem fine to me, Beatrice even fell in love again.
Well there’s no issue if they’re basically like Shirou at the end of HF but I’m not sure about that assumption.

The only issue so far is how they lose something by becoming dolls, but otherwise, looking at Angelica and Beatrice, they seem to act just like regular humans. Sakura might need some time to get back to normal or at least close to that, but I don't think there's any inherent issue in being a doll.

She's fine and I will be astonished if she or anyone besides Darius (and MAYBE Sakura) ends up dead.
If you're admitting Sakura might not be savable, it's not just a meaningless threat, is it?
The emphasis was to show how little I believe that.
I guess "virtually meaningless" is more accurate.
I'm moderately certain the reason we had so much "closure" with Bea is that the dolls won't be making it through the arc one way or another. Sakura in particular is essentially a retread of the old story and there's even a "happy" version of her waiting in Illya's world, so she has no real reason of existence beyond this arc. The only one I could maybe see surviving is Angelica (mostly due to the fanservice, but they did make a point about her being at least somewhat special compared to the others), but even those odds are slim.
I mean, why else do you think Illya gave Bea back her card if not so she could perform a heroic sacrifice with it?

Then again, this IS a mahou shoujo series. They can have all the dolls make a heroic sacrifice and still survive in some form or way to be introduced to the main cast. We'll see yet.
