What I'm getting at is that if Shirou did indeed have something to do with the appearance of the Gil Card in Illya's dimmension, then if he hadn't done whatever triggered that card's appearance Miyu wouldn't have been captured.
In other words, he should've just called it a day after sending Miyu through the first time.
That's assuming the Gil card didn't come with her in the first place. From the sounds of it, Angelica was using the card to fight Shirou when he helped Miyu escape. Odds are she somehow lost it by the end of that fight and it went with Miyu.

To be fair, a slightly-arrogant Ko-Gil with access to an infinitely small fraction of GoB (260-odd weapons, if I'm remembering correctly) was able to casually laugh at her until she started pulling out a small army of Class Cards.
