How very timely as my HD Collection of SEED just arrived today.

Interested with this nonetheless.
Looks kinda okay so far.
Who am I kidding, even if it were absolute trash I would still watch it since it has the Gundam name. If I survived G Gundam I can make it through anything.

G is your suffer though Gundam series? That's a surprise, I don't think I've ever heard anyone talk actual shit about it. The worst I've heard is that is goes too shounen battle, but never anything else. Especially when there are trainwrecks like Victory and AGE out there.

I mean, I'm the kind of person that actually likes Victory and AGE so don't listen to me.

just like jesus christ rose from the dead, so did jesus yamato's series. Beautiful.
We've had infinite beamspam, we had the edgelord buster beam sword, and now it looks like we'll have dual wielding buster beam swords! The proper evolution of things.
The mecha designs honestly look pretty cool, and in-line with what I remember of SEED's general design style (It's been a few years, but still). The character designs remind me of Gundam Battle: Gunpla Warfare Online or whatever it's called rather than SEED, though. Still look cool, but a bit uncanny.
Seed? Where's my IBO Sequel?
“Yet the burden shall be shared by two entwined, from which the sword will part from the body and be bestowed upon the vassal to sacrifice themselves and cleave through space and time.”
“Mark upon this unworthy flesh the emblem of the sacrifice, the vassal whose death shall bring forth victory through the fields of steel and blood!”
“The oath is laid here. We are the ones who represent all the good within the pure lands, and we are the ones who judge what is evil within the pure lands. Thou, Seven Heavens clad in three mere words of unequal power, shall emerge from the spiral of control, O keeper of the balance—!”
This is for the 20th anniversary, so wait for IB0's own 20th anniversary. That, and in Japan SEED apparently revitalized Gundam and was crazy successful, so I can see why this is happening

I have a question for anyone who's watched the 0079 compilation movies. Does Char basically come out of nowhere? His betayal hits in the series because he was constantly around in all these smaller battles until he kills off Zabi#1, but when you have to cut 8 hours of content into 2, you're going to leave out a bunch of that stuff that was built up in the monster of the week episodes that are always the first thing on the chopping block.

^ I haven't watched the compilation movies myself, but the wiki states that Comp-Movie #1 was a compilation of episodes 1-13 and the whole Char/Garma situation occurs between episodes 5-10 so presumably not to answer your question.

this time please do something without Kira.
Okay, but what if in the time since Destiny, Lacus gets ousted and has to go on the run, and while defending her Kira loses his eyesight and his body gets a weird tan. So now the two are going around in their small cruiser with a loyal crew doing the same thing as always only on a smaller scale.
And then Jupiter attacks and Kira gets a Gundam with a pirate motif.
If we need to shove SEED into Crossbones until it fits in order to get a Crossbones movie, I'll take it.

Ew, no. Keep Crossbone as far away from everything else as possible.
One of the reasons I hope F90 is successful is that it'll lead to a reboot of F91 which in turn might mean finally ditching Crossbone.
