I'm glad he took Aila's words to heart and became a TRUE GUNPLA BATTLER. Blargh I want more cameo's though. I mean what the heck happened to Iori Sei? Meijin is famous as all fck as expected, but Iori overcame his piloting problems and was all set to become a legend. Did he seriously go the same path his dad went on and become some kind of mysterious Gunpla agent thing? Lol@that... I want to see more Aila and Reiji too, but they're in another world so I can understand why no one mentions them. Still it would be nice to have a scene or two showing us how their doing.

Rival characters in BF2 are real letdown comparing to original series. Run out of ideas maybe? The only ones I can think of as decent are Gyanko, longhair-kun's imouto, and maybe that loud builder guy with character design that often makes me mistake him for other rival character. Longhair-kun stands out a bit, but so far he is just more boring version of Meijin Kawaguchi who is already present in the show.

Yeah so far they're just enemy characters vut no real "rival" was estabblished.
BFTry is moving a lot slower than s1 anyways, considering how long rthe prelims went on. Is it gonna have more eps than s1?

Wilfrid is that rival now, I thought the new opponent is cool enough than anything in first half.. its maybe what they saving so hard. As for more episode than S1, I doubt it.. but felt like they build up for S3 already.

Hey, SEED and Destiny only used the word Gundam once (or was there another time?) throughout all 100 episodes!

The word 'Gundam' is only used by four characters over the course of the entire series: Kira Yamato, who just uses the acronym for Strike Gundam's OS, Kuzzey Buskirk shortly after Kira's initial sortie in the Strike, when he says "This 'Gundam' thing is awesome" Murrue Ramius and Lacus Clyne, the latter of whom only uses it twice: When Kira sees the Freedom, he mutters "Gundam...", in response to which Lacus explains that "actually, it's the ZGMF-X10A Freedom. But I like 'Gundam'. It sounds strong." and later she says it to Athrun, when he receives the Justice. Mu La Flaga also used the word once, when asking Kojiro Murdoch why Kira called it that.

The word "Gundam" is actually only said twice, in the first episode by Cagalli and in the second by Sting.
