Holyshit Tryon 3 was fcking amazing. Honestly watching that fight I thought they totally deserved the win. I mean it was beating the crap out of team Try Fighters! They only won because of plot shield lol. Seriously at the end Yuuma shot the head, but the Tryon 3 is a GATTAI Gundam! Just shooting the head shouldn't mean the lower half Gundams are destoryed! Oh well it was a great episode regardless.
Man that battle really recaptured the feeling of some of the intense battles in the 1st season that I felt was lacking this season. GBF Try is good and all, but I always felt it wasn't as good as season one. It was a combination of characters I didn't care nearly as much about, and the fights being less awesome Gundam battles and more "lol magic". The whole Gundams being ripped apart and fighting on despite missing limbs, then desperately using whatever they had left to keep fighting until the very end! Honestly in GBF T some Gundams just straight up exploded after one beam shot! Then there's the lack of substantial antagonists. For example, a large part of what made Felini vs Sei/Reiji so good was that Felini was such an interesting character and had a connection with Sei/Iori. When I see them clash I care about the outcome a lot more because both sides are so intersting. GBF season one had a lot of that, almost every major rival was fleshed out. Meijin, Ailia, Nils, even that Baseball Lougdala guy. While here most of the enemies up until now where mooks or people who's back stories kinda fell flat to me.
Anyway TRYON 3 FCKING AWESOME.

It's interesting to see G-reco not being discussed here. I mean I don't watch it but usually I'd see people talk about it here, and I'd always read them to see if G-reco is worth going back to.
Eh, i kinda stopped watching the show for a while now since episode 7. I kinda lost drive of watching it weekly. From what i heard it's pretty damn terrible so far but who knows maybe when i watch my opinion might differ. Tomino is not the most consistent writer after all. He can totally be shit at times.
it's fun to see what Mask and the genius are doing.
I havent watched the latest few eps yet either. G-reco isnt exaty bad or anything, but its not gripping at all, the story has so many sudden jumps and unxplained politics that its impossible to really care for it or get immersed, so to say.
You know I heard that Cross Ange was even more shitty but it gets discussed a lot. Though there is a question of whether it's because people who discuss it talk about it simply because of the good story or because it's so shitty it's good. Or that it has a lot more controversy.
Yup. The Origin OVA Movies are literally just Char and Zeon fanservice.
I mean, that's awesome and all. But there's only going to be three of these and 2 is confirmed more of the above.
I'm guessing their either leading this into a series, or just ending it there.
