It's back!
Gotta say, not really feelin' the new OP and ED songs though.

Gundam Build Divers Re:Rise Episode 14: So that's how things happened on his side. I think new opening and ending are okay, I saw some familiar faces in the former, I hope they show up soon.
Spoiler:
Recap is over, the real show starts now.
Gundam Build Divers Re:Rise Episode 15: The enemies are getting stronger now too. I like the new Core Gundam and I can't wait to see the other forms it has.
Spoiler:
Finally got around to watch Gundam Narrative. As the credits were rolling, my final thoughts were simply "Did this really need to exist?".
I don't hate it per'se but there isn't much to like either. Sure it was nice to see some of the Unicorn cast years later but aside from the concept of a "more sentient than its usual" MS, I just feel like its a lesser Unicorn spin-off/sidestory/DLC or sorta'epilogue that doesn't really bring anything overly new or interesting to the overall story or franchise.
And a wee bit too much Newtype power wanking again to my liking...w/c reminded me of this: Gundam X Remembers What Modern UC Forgot
Ye. I remember reading the original short story and I could practically see the gears turning in Fukui's head as he had to come up with a reason why everybody abandoned Psycho-Frame technology after he made them work without blowing up in Unicorn.
Well, not to worry as Newtypes go back to basis going forward - assuming they haven't radically changed the story to HF anyways.
When does HF occur anyways? After Unicorn?

Huh. I always thought Unicorn was UC 99 for all the "new century" talk in it. Also put it a little father away from Char than 3 years.

Narrative is a movie that inherits all of Unicorn's strengths and weaknesses.
It's a feast for the eyes that feels narratively empty and shallow, creating a big timeline/plot tangle for the later UC shows. I get the sense that Fukui personally ignores the later UC and wants to live in a fantasy world where the Unicorns and Laplace's Box lead to a future of space independence, even though we know from future installments that noting really comes of any of this.
I walked away from both of them feeling apathetic toward Banana-man and his friends and all of the super-suit Newtype shenanigans. People keep talking about Newtypes uplifting humanity, but even Tomino seemed to realize that for all of the Newtype race's potential, they're just people as flawed and fallible as the rest of us. Haman, Sirocco, Char -- all Newtypes, all warmongering dickheads of one flavor or another.
I'm glad we are finally getting Hathaway's Flash, but it makes me wonder why we had to take this detour into Unicornland in the meantime. Just do the novel. It's been right there for years.
Spoiler:
I think they just want to do it chronologically for the "main entry".
Kazami: "Are we doing Fantasy now?"
Me: "What, did the furries not tip you off?"
Gundam Build Divers Re:Rise Episode 16:So Alus made that Gunpla based on Hiroto's. Just what is it really after?
Spoiler:
Okay, I'll admit, a Gundam riding a biotech dragon is probably the most metal thing I've seen in ages.
Credit where it's due.
My Fanfics. Read 'em. Or not.McJon01: We all know that the real reason Archer would lose to Rider is because the events of his own Holy Grail War left him with a particular weakness toward "older sister" types.
"It sounds slippery, but that excites me." Oh Magee, how I've missed you...
Gundam Build Divers Re:Rise Episode 17: So Alus was a AI made to protect Eldora and it's original inhabitants. But the Eldorans now aren't the original inhabits and so it wants to destroy them. And Masaki being captured just made things worse.
