Regardless, I hope they perfected the build before trying to make another Zeta. I want a solid Zeta kit.

Most of them that fully transformable is a mess.
The RG is a hand grenade. The 2.0 and PG are a product of its time, they lack the external details of the line's current standard, and not very sturdy in comparison with other kits from the same line because they have transformation gimmick.
Zeta also being one of the most popular MS often to be one of the first kit released on a new line, which means they may still figuring out what they are doing with the line. It easy to compare how frail the earlier RGs compared to the current RGs which consistently amazing. I can only imagine what if RG Zeta is released with the current RG engineering.

That episode was quite wholesome. Don't know enough about the 1st Divers one since I dropped it early on but it gave enough for context.
Also like how they showed what inspired him to make his versatile multi-spec gunpla.
I wonder if that's meant as a Fuck You to China. The Freedom Gundam above Communist China. Or even just that they choose SEED as the series to showcase.
