If it's a change in the script writing phase you can depend on yourself to get it done, plus if it turns out that Nrvnsqr is just too much work no matter what you try, you won't have to go back and make a script change at whatever phase of the project you are on.

This would be my first concern as indy film maker "how do I Nrvnqsr".
If that's a "no", I'd try to adapt another route tbh. Because he is certainly flashy, but there are more almost-as-hard-to-film things in the route (collapsing hallways or ripping apart ghouls for example).

Edit: well you can't exactly film the two Near Side routes where it's just Tohno tripping balls, though that would certainly be a thing only an indie film could get away with. The main character just sitting in bed riding around in other people's perception of what's going on.

Maybe I could do away with Nero, and maybe make Ciel more of a bigger character. Kinda emphasize the whole, "I like you, but I don't like it when you try to kill my romantic interest, nor do I like it when she does the same with you." thing. Elaborate on her character about as much as they did in the Ciel route. Obviously Arcueid will still be the primary love interest, but Ciel will be utilized more and less of a side character like she was in the Arcueid route. Then there's Roa, who doesn't require a metric fuckton of money to add in. I could just have it where Roa is stalking Shiki throughout the whole movie, with him and Shiki having the occasional run in up until the climax, and the more they run into each other, the more Shiki pieces things together.
Feeding Frenzy. That was the movie. Film Cow has done stuff with some specialish effects as well. It's not impossible, just not sure how feasible it is to do something at Nrvnsqr level.

I still support a run in with Sacchin. Go go killing the vampire blood inside you! Would be a good demonstration the eyes aren't lightsabers.

On a side note, I'm not adding in any of the H-scenes besides maybe the part towards the end where Shiki and Arcueid bump uglys, as it actually represents their love. I've also taken the liberty of not adding in parts that may suggest Shiki is lusting after Akiha. I always found that to be kind of creepy, frankly, and I think it would stir up some controversy.
Question: Arcueid is busty. I assume this is not strictly something you feel a need to represent, correct?
More Serious Question: Arcueid fights in a long restraining skirt. How do you plan to deal with this? (No seriously, how does she move with that thing?)

About Akiha saying big brother, well, yeah, that'll be odd, but I used to know a woman back in high school who used to just rock the word brother. Like, she said the word brother like you'd see a stereotypical high school cheerleader suck a lolipop. As far as I know though, they weren't in an incestuous relationship.
