The blue haired girl set foot on the underground parking lot. The space extended as far as she could see, almost in every possible direction. The place had been built as a response to Tsukuyomi-jima's sudden increase in tourism over the past couple of years. However, as the island had always been small and both native and foreign inhabitants rarely used cars, such a big structure had proved to be a bad investment and had recently closed down.
Not like things like that mattered to any of the Magi who were there that night.
There was nowhere else to run to. With this, Rogue Flame was confident that she had cornered her prey.
"... Don't make things any harder. Show your face."
As if she knew the exact position where her opponent was hiding -and perhaps she did-, she informed the truth: The inevitable confrontation in which they both would be involved could no longer be delayed. Rogue Flame didn't say this out of respect. The reason why she had chosen not to launch a surprise attack on her opponent could not be any further from chivalry. She simply wanted to see the face of the person she was about to murder. And she also wanted that person to see her face.
"Heh."
With a chuckle, a shadow stepped out from behind one of the many columns without losing elegance and seemingly unworried about the situation at hand.
A woman in her late twenties; her long dark hair and gleaming red eyes, together with her slender figure, turned her into a deadly seductress ready to strike. Running her hand through her hair, she placed herself in a spot where anyone could see her, and stared back at the other girl without saying a word, with an expression filled with irony that said everything: 'So, what's next?'
"Do you know..." Rogue Flame put down her hood.
"...Who I am?"
Finding the question pleasant, the woman smiled.
